    This hotel is absolutely atrocious. As soon as you came into the lobby you could tell something was awry because it smelled of air freshener. When I walked down the first floor hallway to get to my room it smelled like a dirty men's locker room. Going into my room I found it to be very warm and muggy. I went to the air conditioner to turn the air down and stepped in a rather large puddle of water. The sink had its hot and cold reversed so I got very hot water when I wanted cold water. The mattresses seemed old, as they were a little lumpy and the springs were squeaky. During the night, either the smoke detector or the carbon monoxide or detector started chirping every 30 seconds. When I looked in the bathtub, I saw something that resembled either clod of dirt or it could have been an insect. I did not want to investigate further. I opted to check out after the first night, even though I had five nights booked. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.

    Comfortable, clean and pleasant place to stay. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Hotel receptionist (Abu) assisted me with any questions I had. He was very professional and polite. Breakfast is amazing.

    I always stay with Wyndham and have never gave a bad review or said anything about a room till this timeThe first thing that was wrong was the pool was closed and was not listed on the website or told when checking in and didn't really make a deal Because my 3 year old would have had just as much fun in the big jet tub with his toys but that was also was not usable...I paid extra for a " luxury" king room with jett tub.Couldn't use the jet tub the plug was broke and wouldn't hold water and the part where the water comes out was broke off and just glued back on the hole top was cracked the tile outside the tub were cracked and when I walked it pinched the bottom side of my foot leaving a blood blister. The hotel let's dogs and animals stay after I couldn't use the jet tub I decided to play games sitting on the floor I kept feeling something and I had white pajamas pants on and had what looked like black pepper on them BUT THEY WERE jumping... IT WAS FLEAS FROM THE ANIMALS...Then the bed .. we all know no bed is like our own at home but this was the most uncomfortable bed The whole side by the window was completely broken so the king side bed we rented turned in to a twin because that was all we could try to use.I tried to lift the mattress to see if I could do something to make it better to sleep and as soon as I took the sheets off all I could smell was dog and god awful stains .I went and said something to the young guy at the front desk when buying a water and he acted like it was nothing told me he would let the owner know and just went on about his business. I would of just left but the only reason we were up there was because we bought tickets for a dinner show that I couldn't get my money back for and it was my son's birthday Woke up and my son's eyes were swollen and red I moved the the blinds to Crack the window and the hole window was caked with black mold So my 3 year had no pool no big tub swollen eyes and a nasty nose from mold and red flea bites all over his feet.

    Most disgusting experience for the price. Garbage outside entry doors, rude staff, Broken glass in the lobby floor at breakfast while the guy at the front desk was on his phone. Cigarette butts and garbage attracting flies at the door... booked a room with a jet tub you wouldn't DREAM of putting your body close to. Shower made a screaming noise... ever piece of trim was cracked or falling off... half of the hotel windows appeared to be full time residents with wild curtains and plants and a cat... The place certainly smelled like a cat farm... It was the worst hotel I've ever been to.

    People so nice and polite . Staff so professional thank you very much for everything. We definitely would stay again when we come to Chicago .
