  Lack Of Privacy And Clear Management

  I stayed here for one night and had good expectations. The hotel is new, so I figured it was clean. The first room had a really bad smell, but they switched me easily. The hotel clerk this day was very pleasant and helpful. Bu, the next day, they held fire inspections, and a man asked to enter the room, saying he was fire department. I had asked for no disturbances, so this was a surprise, as well as no one told me that they would be doing inspections during my stay. Because I refused entry, the man grew angry and impatient, banging hard on the door repeatedly and demanding entry to the room. This was scary. Front desk was not helpful and because the manager was not on the scene. I had to call customer service for help. They handled the matter quickly and I checked out. The most important thing to feel is privacy and safety, I did not feel that, so I left the hotel. The hotel was a scary disappointment.

  AMAZING STAFF, CLEAN, QUIET, AND GREAT BREAKFAST!!

  I ALWAYS try to stay in a budget friendly Hilton when I can and the Spark's are where it's at! The location of this hotel is only about a 35 minute drive from downtown Chicago so perfect for not being in the hustle and bustle of it all and not paying those inner city prices! We were greeted immediately from the front desk and the man who checked us in was super friendly and amazing! We stayed mainly for the Shawn Mendes concert and to sight see the next day and it was an absolute breeze! All the staff was super friendly and helpful and checked on us everyday to make sure we had everything that we needed! The rooms were super spacious, clean, quiet, and most importantly the beds were super comfortable! The breakfast area was nice too with a decent breakfast bar that I wish had a little more to offer but they kept it stocked along with the coffee and hot tea all night which definitely made up for it! Overall, it was a wonderful and comfortable stay and when we come back to Chicago we will definitely be staying here again!

  Great Stay at Spark by Hilton Oak Forest – A Fresh, Affordable Hilton Brand

  I recently stayed at the Spark by Hilton in Oak Forest, IL, and was very impressed. This hotel is part of Hilton’s newest brand designed to offer affordable stays without compromising on quality, It truly stand up to the Hilton Standards and have a great pricing.

  Travelled across the country by car (LA to NY) and this was the worst hotel on the trip. Best western recently converted into a Hilton spark. Grim grim grim. Franchisee that gives Hilton a bad name.No EV chargers although shown on website.Water bottle filler did not work!! So no water unless you purchased it.Luggage cart was falling apart, had to push the top bar back in so it didn’t fully fall apart and had rusty screws sticking out.Elevator hardly fit the cart in.Pictures not put up on walls, just left leaning on walls next to unopened packages. Crass suspicious silent auction table as soon as you walk in.Pool looked questionable and after everything else I didn’t trust not getting a bacterial infection.Didn’t see any members of staff in whole hotel aside from receptionist (owners?- no name tags so who knows)Room had 3 postage stamp bath towels. No hand towel, no spare towels, no wash clothes.Whole place smelt of weed.Our room hadn’t been vacuumed.Had to wear noise cancelling headphones because there was no sound insulation from the other rooms. Thermostat on the wall wasn’t wired it, wouldn’t turn on.Awful cheap pillows.Half the room didn’t have power so couldn’t use the sockets on one side of the room or the floor lamp.Paint job was very sloppy. There was wall paint on the door handles and wonky lines like it was not done by a professional. Flooring didn’t go all the way to the edges.Pet fee was $75 per dog which was the most expensive of all the hotels across the country. (Usual $25 or free)I will never willing stay at a franchise spark by Hilton again. Awful. Don’t waste your money.

  The hotel looked more like motel 6 it was plain . Walls in the bath room were disgusting. Dirty and filthy. We had no trash cans. None in the bathroom and none in the room. So I asked for some and they brought me 2 the were filthy dirty on the outside with over sized bags. I didn’t even want to touch those thrash cans. Never will I ever stay there. Oh and the floors in the bathroom were sticky, had no mat towels in the bathroom either. If you stay there good luck .
