    There was only 1 towel in the room, had to go ask for more. Only a partial roll of tp, also had to ask for another one. The shower head sprayed water all over the bathroom. The light by the bed didn't work unless you wiggle the wire and see it spark. Holes in the walls and deteriorating furniture. Lastly saw an employee pull out of the spot saved for veterans, very disrespectful on her part.

    Would not stay again. My wife and I arrived to stay 1 night on a longer trip. Upon check-in, we were informed that there was a $150 hold on our card; I never saw this mentioned previously. I asked if it would be refunded after check-out and was informed that "it will take several days." Ok, whatever. We had gone on this trip to pick up a new dog that we adopted. When I mentioned that we had a dog, the deposit went up to $250 PLUS a non-refundable pet fee of $45. Again never saw this. Now I am sure that mgmt will respond with the usual "it is in the agreement that you signed", and it might have been. This should be prominently displayed when you make your reservation. The desk clerk apologized and admitted that they should make this more noticeable. Also warned me as I walked away that there was a VERY LIGHT continental breakfast the next day; I took this to mean that it was almost non-existent and we were leaving very early, so it didn't matter.Ok, so got our room key, went out to get the bags and Cami (our dog), and were stopped by the desk clerk; he had mistakenly put us into a "non-pet room" and had to switch us. Ok, so a couple more minutes. Got to our room and it was cold, turned the heat up, and eventually it warmed up. This place needs to be updated BADLY. Old, marred furniture, worn carpet, beds were just ok. The bathroom was bare minimum, again needs to be updated.During the night, it was noisy, with slamming doors, loud voices, and laughter etc. Not necessarily the hotel's fault, but hard to sleep.Overall, very lousy place to say. DO NOT STAY here unless absolutely necessary. There are other hotels in the area, and we gladly would have paid a little more to stay somewhere even slightly nicer.

    I knew it was an old hotel and it was not expensive so I figured may need work but the ice did not work the 4 days we were there. Ok. Our first room you could push the door open, it would not latch. We did get a new room with now problem but the toilet! You have to see to believe. I added a photo. There is no excuse for that.

    This hotel is in bad shape and desperately needs to have a remodel. Room had a musty smell, smoke detector was hanging down from ceiling, receptacle face plate was loose and away from wall. Bathroom is small and lots of bad patch work and poor maintenance on walls and ceiling. Only had 1 very thin washcloth and 2 towels. We didn’t even shower. We just wanted to get out of there.

    Had a room booked here while on a road trip. Our van broke down so we couldn't make it. We contacted them the next day to let them know what happened and to ask for a refund. The first lady said they would do the refund but her manager would have to put it through. She said the manager would call me back. She never did. I ended up calling back 2 more times, the manager was never there they always said she'd call me back and she never did. They also said the lady who promised me the refund was new and didn't know what she was talking about. Who cares? The refund was promised so it should be given. Instead of being understanding and doing the right, moral/ethical thing they are still denying the refund. We had to spend $1000 to get our car fixed and they wanted to kick us while we were down and not refund a hotel stay we couldn't use because our car couldn't get us there. Horrible customer service, and the people who work there are ok with that which says a lot about this hotel. Stay away.
