Our large room was bright, clean and contemporary. We loved amazing view from the windows of our contemporary Studio Suite overlooking skyscrapers. The suite had kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Fantastic architectural art deco details, amazing arch in our room. Nice looking lobby of this historical building. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our 4 nights stay. They were responsive, friendly and competent. The location is convenient close to major attractions, not far from Art Institute.

A great location in a older hotel that does not have parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bathroom was updated. We were on the "L" side that is kind of noisy. A better curtain to more completely cover the window for light and noise, around the window air conditioner, would be good. Coffee and tea in the room; no frige or microwave.

AC from room above dripped loudly onto mine the entire stay. Carpet in room is old, left me feeling unclean, especially as I climbed into clean sheets with dirty feet.
