    When we want a little get away this is where we go. The service is always top notch. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready, but they offered another comparable room to get us checked in early. Love the amenities and to turn on the fire place and curl up on the sofa!     We have just got back from a stay here and had a fabulous time. The hotel is really well located, only minutes from Michigan Avenue and is in a very upmarket neighbourhood. The hotel was calm and peaceful, every member of staff we talked to was helpful and genuine, they wanted to help. The room itself was the perfect size for two people, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was really well appointed. If I had to critique, I would say that the room was slightly too warm even when the lowest temperature was selected and I think it could do with a music speaker of some sort. The pool was a nice addition, the spa staff were friendly. I personally think that guests should have at least one free day pass per stay given the room cost. $75 plus tax is a lot to use a jacuzzi and sauna in my view. Overall the stay was brilliant. We absolutely will return to this property and the wonderful city of Chicago.     I called several times directly to the hotel and had the pleasure of speaking to Daniel each time. He was very professional and made certain everything I asked about and for was done. I only mentioned once we were going for my daughter’s birthday and we were taking our two daughters and they were surprised to find the extras in their room. Thank you, Daniel!!!!!
