Wonderful hotel and staff

My stay at this hotel was amazing!!! All services at the hotel was very friendly, polite, and courteous. I want to thank the wonderful valet team especially to Eric. He was so friendly and helped us with finding good restaurants and things to do in Clearwater. I truly wish all people that service the public were as nice and helpful as the staff and valet of Springhill Marriott. I will definitely be back!!!! Best bartender in Clearwater
16 Mar 2026
We really enjoyed spending time with friends at the Springhill Suites Lobby Bar. Zach was an excellent bartender and very attentive. His friendly disposition made everyone feel welcomed and is the reason we would meet here before dinner and then end our day with a nightcap here. Zach is a superstar and I wish him the best in his future endeavors!! Very Nice Property, busy spot.

The Springhill Suites is a fantastic spot for a quick beach getaway on Clearwater Beach. The location is fantastic with beach access being about as easy as one, two, three (an easy walk through Surf Style and you're on the powdery white sand). Everyone raves about breakfast, and its good to be sure. However, it is the service that makes the breakfast great. Clean, efficient and plentiful because the staff is on top of things. With the crowds they get, I would have assumed a nightmare of a mess at the waffle makers 30mins after opening. Not the case, because there are FOUR plus staff making sure they are clean after each use. This may seem like a trivial thing to share on a review, but I've got kids- IYKYK.Front desk staff are a little overwhelmed as they are asked to carry out several duties. A little frustrating to have a Bonvoy/Elite line that isn't attended to. Membership and repeat business comes with perks, and this location falls short in meeting them. That said, the front desk staff is asked to handle both Springhill and Residence Inn reservations and check ins. They are also supplying beach/pool towels to guests coming and going all day and night. This may not seem like too much additional responsibility, but in a small area that is logistically stupidly planned, Keven and his staff try their hardest. Rooms are fairly standard, but decorated in a chic, tropical vibe. If you get a balcony room, its a nice break from the norm. Sunrise views are tremendous. Just remember to close your shades if you don't want to be woken up. The bathrooms were designed poorly with nearly every guest complaining about their shower doors basically spilling out to the floor and needing towels to sop up the mess. Parking is valet only, but on Clearwater Beach, the parking fee at the Marriott is actually pretty reasonable. Noise. Some reviews complain about the noise from the bar next door. The bar is noisy because Clearwater Beach is so quiet. The noise died down each night around 10pm, so if you have little ones, make sure your room is on the north side of the building. Otherwise, just enjoy the liveliness of the bar and wait till 10pm.The pool is nice, and has very nice water views from the deck. Chairs/lounges are gobbled up after breakfast, so make sure you get there early if you plan on laying out for a while. Chris Hammons, General Manager at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Clearwater Beach, responded to this review Greetings, Thank you for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay with us. We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the convenient beach access, our breakfast service, and the efforts our team makes to keep everything clean, organized, and well stocked—especially around the waffle station! We understand how important those little details can be when traveling with family. We also appreciate your recognition of Kevin and the front desk team. Our staff works hard to assist guests across both properties while keeping things running smoothly, and your acknowledgment means a lot to them.At the same time, we truly value the constructive feedback you provided. We’re sorry to hear about the frustrations with the Bonvoy/Elite line and the bathroom shower design. Your comments will be shared with our management team so we can continue evaluating ways to improve the guest experience. Feedback like yours helps us identify where adjustments are needed. We’re glad you were able to enjoy the tropical feel of the rooms, the beautiful sunrise views, and the pool deck overlooking the water. Clearwater Beach can certainly be lively, and we appreciate you sharing helpful tips for future guests regarding room location and pool seating.Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you and your family back for another beach getaway in the future. Thanks, Chris
