    Wonderful weekend in Dallas

    Aaron Williams with valet was so helpful, kind, professional, and went above and beyond for us! He greeted us every time we came and went, loaded up our bags when we left, and made our stay that much better! Fendyi (apologies if this is misspelled!) at reception was so kind and professional. She even gave us a World Cup watch party recommendation which we hadn’t heard about. We loved our stay and staff definitely heightened the experience.     Downtown Dallas Details Make The Difference!

    It’s been a few years since our last stay at the AC Downtown Dallas. Our room was very clean and we enjoyed our city view. The noise level from the street was a little intrusive earlier in the evening (2nd floor) but not an issue when it came time for sleep. We opted to order our breakfast from the menu rather than buying the breakfast buffet — it was totally worth it! Highly recommend the Texas Breakfast as it is a ton of food. But the best part was being served by Francisco! He was so kind and personable. Parking at the AC is valet only. Go ahead and factor this into your stay and save yourself the headache of looking for parking. The app/website for parking (PMC) was a little wonky but that didn’t hinder the guys at the valet desk from excellence. The main guy, as well as Jonathan and Roderick served us with complete professionalism. I could see the valet operations from our window and at times they had six or eight cars stacked up. Their primary concern was getting guests in to the AC for their stay — and just as quickly they got the cars parked and the service lane cleared. They respectfully handled my car the multiple times each day that I called for it. Bonus points to the valet crew for being able to drive a car with a standard transmission!     Multiple Bugs and Sewage Stench in Room

    We stayed at AC hotel in December 2025 and had an unfortunately poor experience. We booked a two queen bed room for a two night stay. The front desk worker was on the phone multiple times seemingly taking personal calls (referring to someone as “Daddy” over the phone) while we waited to be helped. When we did receive assistance, the first room that we were assigned— room 908– had a strong sewage smell throughout the room. The shower water especially smelled very strongly of sewage. It was so unbearable that I requested a room change. The front desk was accommodating and gave me a second room—room 809. Room 809 unfortunately had multiple bugs—both dead and alive—in the bed, pillows, night stand, and floor. Upon showing photos/ videos to the front desk, concerned that they may be bed bugs, an employee casually commented that, “they looked as if they could be fleas.” We do not own pets, nor have we been around any animals, really ever. We were again given a third room, which was alright, but had some questionable cleanliness upon arrival, with hair in the bathroom sink and a suspicious brown stain on the bathroom wall. We have requested a refund for our inconvenience and are awaiting a response from management. With the multiple issues that we have faced, I am disappointed that this option was not offered to us before we requested. Overall a poor experience. We would not stay here again.     I was ROBBED while staying at this hotel, and the staff - especially the general manager, Adrian - was completely unhelpful and unresponsive. I checked in on a Friday and was robbed that same night while out at dinner. Cash and credit cards were stolen from my room. When I reported this to the hotel, the response was incredibly disappointing. The manager initially offered only to cancel the second night of my stay but still intended to charge me for the night I was robbed. I had to plead just to be moved to another hotel and have that night refunded. Since then, the hotel has gone completely silent - no updates, no follow-up, and none of the loyalty points they promised as compensation. They have also failed to provide any information or transparency regarding security footage or what actions (if any) were taken. This experience was deeply unsettling and handled with a shocking lack of professionalism or empathy. DO NOT STAY HERE! Your safety and peace of mind are not their priority.     Great experience. One serious issue with a child man.

    Great experience. Kudos to John Detwiler. Locked out of my room at 3 am. Adrian. John. Dante. Helped me get a room for the night and I applaud their customer service. However. One individual ruined my stay. I was preparing for an important meeting with the my client. Dallas City leadership. And apparently I was interfering with the breakfast cleanup process. One individual. Not sure of his name but he was a small man. In stature. With a disproportionate and unusual amount of facial hair. He apparently Felt I was impeding his cleaning process. Told me verbally to move. And proceeded to make uncomfortable noise while I was talking to city executives. Chairs moving. Silverware clashing. This hairy child man made so much noise that city leadership asked me what was happening in the background. Adrian smiled and waved as I was leaving for a new hotel. He didn’t know that I had just dealt with a child. And the child’s petty little tantrum. This is why I am diamond with Hilton now. Staff don’t intentionally make noise because they feel slighted. Because I am in Their area no less. Please. Child man. Do better. Shave. And respect the fact that I am a paying customer. Signed. AJMarriott Lifetime Platinum.
