    Poor Stay - RUN!!!

    I will never stay at this chain nor particular hotel again. The dirtiest hotel I’ve e er stayed at. Room smelled SO BAD!!! First night, a couple tried getting into our room at 1:30AM - 2AM!! I can’t remember the time exactly, I was half sleep. But they were attempting to get in our room. The FRONT DESK person working that night assigned them the room. Had not a clue it was occupied!!! I woke up and opened the door while the couple stood there apologizing. I went up to the front desk obviously angry. All while she was on the phone with a coworker about the situation (Kim)… not once did she apologize or even acknowledge the situation with me. I still need to contact the manager about this situation. Manager not on duty on the weekends! The situation totally unsafe. I had children in the room as well. That could had been a very bad situation IF a couple variables were different. Back to the room, floors stained, walls stained, sheets stained, furniture stained - everything filthy. Bathroom nasty. The property needs an upgrade. I was really disgusted. Again, room smelled HORRIBLE!!! We only needs to stay 2 nights. Thank goodness. Breakfast was BAD!!! They are so cheap. Super watered down juices in the morning. Every guest complained during breakfast time about it. It was well known both mornings. But no one cares. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Good location. But not worth it. Stay elsewhere.     The pillows are flat. Room 201 bathroom curtain torn. Otherwise double bed room was average. Breakfast is very minimal.     Comfortable, cool stay at Comfort Suites DeSoto Dallas South. We were in town for a wedding and stayed four (4) nights at this location. The only drawback was not having housekeeping turn over the room daily. We did not know this or we would have planned accordingly with linens etc. the first day. Getting replacement linen was a hassle as the front desk said get them from the carts in the hallway and they were not always easily found. The toilet had a round seat on it, but the bowl was oval - nothing major, but not well thought-out. Ours was a Double Queen Suite with extra room, which included a fold out sofa bed. There was no linen for the fold out bed, so we had to go back down for that; again, nothing major, but the room just didn't seem to be well thought-out ahead of time. Otherwise the room was great. The A/C kept us cool in the Texas heat and everything was tidy. We would definitely stay here again should we return.     Housekeeping needs to addressed the breakfast could be better. And opening the pool if we paid for it. When I booked it said it would be open.! Wi-Fi kept kicking me off. Elevator beyond slow, it was quicker to walk to the second floor.Literally only good thing was location the a/c, I was allows to check in early. I didn't dare to sit on on the couch. I don't enjoy my stay ams wasted my money. It was sleep In my car or lose my money.     Not the best, not the worst either.

    Well... I don't have a lot of positive things to say about this hotel but it wasn't the worst place I've stayed in.The check in was amazing - and the staff super friendly - Five stars all the way. The room, while spacious, had some sticky spots on the carpet, so we stayed in our shoes, unless we were in bed. The beds were comfy and clean. The water pressure in the shower was weak at bestSadly the pool was not open, so that was a huge disappointment. The breakfast was okay. There were some hot items (Eggs/sausage), toast/bagels, and a waffle maker. There were individually wrapped pastries/muffins/PB&J sandwiches which were different. NO shortage of coffee/tea/juice. Lots of nearby restaurants, so lunch/dinner options were plentiful. Unlikely to stay there again, should we find ourselves in the area.
