    Unkept neglect

    The staff was nice and the food was pretty good. The cleanliness was terrible. Unkept neglect. Dead roach on arrival in the elevator lobby and took some pictures of examples. The gym was a joke no Waits in the place and it was filthy. Pretty much filthy all the way around leadership needs to make a commitment to clean it up or it’ll never happen.

    This was our last night of our 3 week tour through Texas. The hotel is good, our room was spacious an we had a nice view at the city. The courtyard and swimming pool are inviting. Especially with the hot weather. But Dallas had so much to offer, that we did not use the pool. Staff at reception were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was no buffet but a choice of the menu. (We prefer a buffet).So, this hotel is recommandable for a stay in Dallas.

    The receptionist at the front desk was very friendly and professional, making check-in quick and easy. The room was surprisingly spacious, with a separate family room that added extra comfort. I didn’t expect the hotel to be so large, and it took a little while to get to my room, but overall it was a pleasant stay.

    Don’t Stay here if you value customer service

    Bad customer service and just a horrible place to stay…avoid this place. Overall, the customer service is just horrible. The check-in process made me wanna actually check out before I even got into the room. I really recommend people do not come to this hotel if you’re staying in Dallas.

    I would not advise everyone to NOT stay at this property. The front desk (like most hotels) took a credit card at check in to offset any potential room charges. They stated that they would place a provisional $125 charge to the card. Instead they placed a $625 charge on the card. When I called they denied anything more than the $125. After checkout they did not return any money but instead left the $625 charge on the card. When I called again they denied that the card had ever been run as they had no record of the card number - not even the original $125 that they previously stated they had charged. When I asked how we were to resolve this I was told to file a claim with my bank card holder. Very snippy young lady answering the call. Interesting that on the first called she claimed that she could not help me and that all management had left for the day (3:00 CT). The same girl answered my second call and miraculously now to how to check the system and could try to help. Very poorly managed from this perspective. As a Lifetime Platinum Elite member I have stayed at countless Marriott properties world wide and this location is by far the worse and certainly not living up to the Marriott standards.
