Hotel needs total Renovation
03 Jun 2026
First, let me say the front desk staff were all friendly, kind and helpful. Our room never got cool. It was acceptable, but turning the thermostat to 70 didn’t help. Another guest told us you had to adjust it somehow with the fan together it colder. Directions with the room thermostat stating that would be nice. The hallway was very cold. Our bathtub faucet ran the entire time we were there. It wasn’t just a drip. It had corroded the faucet. Management and maintenance must not have bothered to want to make sure it was in good working order. The shower water was cold. There was no hot water. That was unacceptable. The hotel needs to be renovated. IHG should be ashamed to have rooms in this condition. Soci Assist, Other at Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown by IHG, responded to this review Hi Road51898965526,Thank you for highlighting the friendliness of our front desk team. We deeply regret the discomfort you experienced with the room temperature and water issues. Your feedback is invaluable and has been shared with our team to address these concerns promptly. We are committed to ensuring a more pleasant experience for all our guests.- The Staff at Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown

Pick up the phone and stop leaving us on hold.

I've stayed at this hotel in the past. I believe back in March and I've really enjoyed it, but the last two days have really left a sour taste in my mouth. Every time I've called all they'd done was put me on hold. Every time I've called it was a quick pick up then I'll just wait on hold. Not sure what happen to the customer service or if they outsources their incoming calls, but it's so hard to get an actual person. What happened? Soci Assist, Other at Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown by IHG, responded to this review Hi Elizabeth,We understand how frustrating it is to experience long hold times when trying to reach the team, especially after a previous stay with us. We’re reviewing how incoming calls are being handled to make it easier to reach a team member directly and receive assistance. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope for another opportunity to restore your confidence in our service.- The Staff at Crowne Plaza Dallas Downtown
