  No one ever picks up the phone

  I booked this hotel through American Airlines when my flight was cancelled. I called and called and called for more than half an hour to try to reach someone in order to get the free airport shuttle, but no one ever answered. I ended up taking a cab for $35 from the airport. When I arrived, there was no one at the desk. I called out and someone in the back room said just a minute and came out. It did not sound like there had been any conversation in that back room. He checked me in and gave me my room key. He said he’d been getting so many calls about cancellations that he was unable to answer all the calls, and there is only one phone line for the hotel. He set me up for the shuttle in the morning and then disappeared back into the back room. I was given no information on breakfast or any other amenities. I took a shower, but it took a few minutes for the water to start running and even longer for it to get warm. The room does have a fridge, 2 hot plates and a sink. It looks OK, but there were some stains on the pillows. there are multiple other hotels around here that cost a little bit more and where I will probably stay next time.

  One step up from sleeping in the airport

  We were stranded at DFW due to a weather delay and needed a hotel close to the airport for the night. It was nice that this hotel had a shuttle service so we didn’t need to Uber. The shuttle service was for multiple hotels so we had to stop several times before getting to ours. The room appeared clean but was a blast from the 70s. It was warm, so we turned on the a/c. It never really got cold so it was uncomfortable to sleep. In the morning when we were going to take a quick shower we found that the shower didn’t work!We went downstairs to get coffee but there was no coffee although there were containers that may have had coffee earlier. The hotel served its purpose and was better than sleeping in the airport.

  An absolute DUMP! Stinky, dirty, and a helicopter furnace in our room & no drinking water!!

  Our flight was cancelled and the airport put us in this hotel for the night. The hotel was an absolute DUMP! Stinky, dirty, and a helicopter furnace in our room. We waited in the freezing cold open basement of the airport almost 1:40 for the shuttle to the hotel. We finally tipped another hotel driver to drop us off at ours. They told us multiple times...they'll be there in 20 minutes...then 7 then 20...and then they just stopped answering the phone. We couldn’t even get drinking water at the hotel. I couldn’t find any water fountain so I asked the guy where I could get some drinking water and he told me to go to the vending machine upstairs. The vending machine was completely out of water so I went to bed drinking a Coke zero! Every single part of that hotel experience was bad!!
