  The general manager is the rudest guy I have EVER dealt with. I extended my trip last minute and paid for two extra days at the hotel on top of my original reservation. The GM called me rude as possible after my initial reservation and told me to get out before even asking any questions. That was after I already spoke with the front desk attendant that confirmed my stays and told me I’ll be in the same room the whole time. Went down to prove the GM wrong and when I did he told me it’s my fault he doesn’t know the system and didn’t apologize for being rude Michael B, at Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas DFW Airport, responded to this review The young man would not engage in conversation or discuss the problems being encountered checking out a third party stay in order to check into a new reservation on file.His threat was to destroy me and the hotel on the Internet.

  I stayed here for 3 nights. My room was on an upper level towards the front of the hotel away from the elevator and stairs. I found the room to be clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable. From check in to check out, I felt like a valued guest. All of the staff that I encountered were pleasant.The view from my room provided for some amazing sunsets. The bed was comfortable.Breakfast was your typical Hampton Inn breakfast with plenty of hot and cold items to choose from. Each morning presented a different type of meat and eggs.Nearby you will find plenty of restaurant options, both sit down and fast food. There are plenty of gas stations nearby as well. If you're looking for a Walmart or Target, both are available nearby.The air conditioning unit was quiet and worked well. I never thought I'd be using a/c in Dallas during the month of February.My only issue was the design of the sink in the bathroom (I'm finding this at a lot of hotels lately). For whatever reason, the faucet is on the back corner of the sink. First, it's nearly impossible to wash your hands and second, the water goes all over the counter. This was annoying. I left a hand towel on the counter to catch the water. DFW was an easy 15 minute drive on a Saturday morning.Hands down, I will stay here again when in the area!

  Worst Experience Ever

  I went to this hotel for a temporary living situation. I had been in a rough spot and I booked it just because of the location not really knowing anything about it. Turns out there’s an angry old Middle Eastern man who works downstairs and he made this trip a living nightmare. Almost getting the cops involved over me simply going up to him at night after checking on my car to tell him that someone’s flasher lights were on and to let him know so that their battery wouldn’t die. He threatened to call the police on me and said it was none of my business and proceeded to threaten me in many ways and say that he knew what kind of person I was. This was the most terrible experience of my life and I did not want to go back to the hotel for fear he would call the police on me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL unless you are trying to check in early and not leave because if you are outside of your room he gets suspicious and will threaten to call the police on you.

  Clean, efficient modern design. Cleaning fluid smells like bubblegum but it could be worse!

  Rooms are modern and efficient. Everything in working order and clean. Friendly helpful staff. Close to two ok restaurants — Abuelo and Italianni’s Bed comfy. There are two sets of hooks — one in bathroom and one in main rooms. Very useful and unusual. Only complaint I have is the cleaners they use smell like bubblegum!

  I rarely give 5 stars but honestly could not finds a flaw that was of the hotels issue. The area is hidden and serene but close to major dining , shopping and event venues. The room was comfortable, stylish and clean. Upon check in we were given 2 water bottles which is customary per reward level but often forgotten and to our surprise fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. Sadly I forgot my suit so we were not able to enjoy other amenities. The breakfast was plentiful ,fresh and tasty. The staff went above and beyond. They reminded me why when I can I choose Hampton Inn.
