    I’ve stayed in Motel 6’s that were better, cleaner, and the staff were absolutely more friendly and understanding.

    I booked a one night stay with my 3 children; 1 being below the age of 5. We checked in at 3pm and then left again returning around 7-7:30pm. Everything was going great till approximately 2:45 am that morning when I walked into the bathroom to find several bugs crawling on the floor and counter top including a small roach. I then went and began looking in the main stay room where we were sleeping. As I checked along base boards of the walls and beds I located a small yellow baggy near the wall, on the floor, at the corner of the bed where 2 of my children were sleeping. Through my training and experience as a LEO, I recognized this to be drug paraphernalia with white powdery/tiny crystal like residue resembling that of methamphetamine or cocaine. I immediately took photos, collected it, and took it to the front desk receptionist working. He took the item and made notes in the computer and said the manager would be in that morning around 9 am. A few hours later I woke my children up, packed up, and went to check out and speak with the manager. I was told she was not in but they would have her call me. Approximately 45 minutes to an hour I received a call and the solution I was given was $20 off my stay and they would contact the local law enforcement agency. When I tried to argue that after everything and the room not being properly cleaned along with the big issue I did not find it fair nor reasonable to be charged the stay. I was told $20 off my bill (that still didn’t happen) was all she (the manager) was willing to do then she cut me off and told me to have a nice day and hung up. I absolutely am disgusted, disappointed, and angry at this situation especially the fact that if my children had found it and fentanyl had been in that package. I even brought that scenario up and it was completely dismissed and not even considered. I will never stay at another Holiday Inn or any affiliated hotel. I will also make sure I share my experience with others that plan on staying in the area so they do not have to spend a night in a place that evidently does not care about their guests, keeping their word, or making a situation right that could potentially of had a fatal outcome if that package was found by someone or a child not knowing. Be better…DO BETTER! I’ve stayed at Motel 6’s where the rooms were cleaner and the staff was way more professional.     Not the worst, but not the best...

    After a long commute upon arrival, I learned there was a parking fee for the vehicles, and the first night had already been charge to my account, not a problem, but I wanted to use another payment method. I was able to use the other payment method for the remaining days. The 2nd floor room assigned did not have enough towels for our party. There was also a towel with dirt on it rolled up next to the only other clean body towel. I took the dirty towel and empty Kleenex box to the front desk where myself and another customer checking in waited for about 5 min for service. When the agent returned, I informed him there were not enough towels for our party of 5 and I need face towels and body towels to dry off. He went to the back and returned stating laundry had not been done due to the holiday, so I asked what time would towels be ready the next day. He said he didn't know. The room appeared to be clean, but the sleeper sofa where I slept the material smelt musty. The soap caddy in the bathroom that was glued on the wall fell down during the night. The people above us ran and jumped and could be heard loudly well into the late night. The breakfast offered was good. The check out process was fine, also.     The bedding was great, slept really well. The carpets in the room needed a good clean because they were stained. Housekeeping was hit or miss and they did a good job on the bathrooms but didn't seem to vacuum the room often enough. The breakfast was ok but became boring after being there for 12 nights. The reception desk was a very good experience. They were quick to help and very pleasant.     THE ABSOLUTE WORST STAFF

    This evening my nephew called to cancel his reservation. He gave the (per the person Aaron who answered the call) manager his name and information and he hung up. He was not provided confirmation that his reservation was canceled a total lack of professionalism.. I called back to ensure that his reservation was canceled and was also hung up on. I plan on emailing them I'm sure he was neither the manager and that his name was Aaron. His behavior was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND SHOULD NOT REPRESENT THIS HOTEL OR COMPANY. I will be emailing corporate and providing them with the call information so they can she who was working this shift.     Several couples stayed here overnight while attending an event. Upon check-in the front desk employees were nice and friendly. The room was quiet although the bathroom should have been cleaned more thoroughly. It was okay for an overnight stay.
