  The front desk was professional and efficient. The problem with this and many other hotels is the HVAC system shuts off while you sleep. Also, the coolest you can set is 68 degrees which is really 71. I asked the front desk and she honestly tried to help. (came to the room and agreed it was hot) She said there is a way to override the system but she had never been trained. Sure enough 10 minutes after I fell asleep the unit shut down. While I understand there is a cost to run the system please give us an option to pay the extra. I cannot sleep when the “window unit” shuts down while I sleep.   Best stay in a hotel in a long time

  Pros:1. Great location if you're going to the Southern Junction.2. Clean. Didn't have to make an appointment for housekeeping services either (unlike the Hilton chain).3. Hot breakfast choices, although they were the same each day.4. Front desk personnel were excellent, top notch.5. Walking distance to some restaurants.6. Room had a microwave and fridge, didn't have to ask for one (like our last 2 Hilton stays).Cons:1. Microwave timer didn't time.2. Pool is outside and was closed for the winter.

  I'll never rent another room from this hotel ever...

  My check in time was at 3:00pm. My check out time was at 11:00am the next day...I checked in the room around 4:15pm. I checked out of the room around 11:45pm that night... I check my credit card and this POS hotel charged me double the cost of my room because I checked out early... Never in my life have I ever heard of a hotel charging twice the cost of the room for early check out... There's nothing on their web page that says anything about charging for early check out. No one at the counter told me I would be charged for early check out. Who treats their customers in this manner?? What's the difference between leaving early or staying till 11:00am the next day... You got all the money you'll ever collect off me Holiday Inn Express... You're no better than scammers... You might be even worse. Don't stay at hotels that don't take care of their customers... Date: 08-19-22 is when I rented the room...   Great Place for a quiet stay

  We have passed this place often but it was recently remodeled and they have done a great job. It was clean and updated and quiet above all. We will be back to stay there again when we need a room in the area

  They're renovating, but the place isn't a wreck like some places I've stayed that were being remodeled. The clerk was prompt and polite. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean as well. Hot water quickly and good water pressure. Breakfast was decent as well.
