    Hotel was recommended by doctor's office because of an early morning surgery for my husband. I normally make all reservations but my husband did it to keep us from having to get up about 3:00 am to get to the hospital. I was totally shocked at the price and would NEVER have made the reservation! It was a ripoff for anyone staying to be near the hospital. There's only space for maybe two cars while checking in. The parking is not connected and a little 'sketchy' walking to the parking garage at night (well, any time) and difficult to find elevator to upper lots. The couch had a tear in it/ The sliding bathroom door was difficult to close and if opening too far, it got stuck in the track - had to force it back out. The AC/heater was difficult to operate and when lowering the heater temp, it blew cold air out to cool down the room instead of just shutting off.The good part: the room was spacious with a fully stocked kitchen. If you are going to stay several days, it might be acceptable - except too expensive for the condition of the room and area.     Excellent accommodation with kitchen. Breakfast bar was well stocked and spacious.     When we first stayed here, we had an issue with a front desk employee not being very friendly.. Since then, things have been rectified and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Shoutouts to Madison and Eric, amongst others. My husband has been staying there while I am in the hospital and they have gone above and beyond to make his stayed comfortable and welcoming, which he is going through these trying times. Thank you.     Don’t let them convince you that parking “in front of the hotel” overnight is completely secure.

    I was assured ahead of time that I would have secure overnight parking for our U-Haul and when I arrived I was directed to a parking meter on the street out of view from the sole front desk attendant. I called Hilton ahead of time and explained the circumstances of arriving later than anticipated following a full day of packing and loading my daughter’s apartment into a moving truck and specifically led to this hotel. Upon arrival and seeing the situation, I called Hilton and they refused to refund the room, even when I told them I’d find a different Hilton hotel…basically saying they’d still receive my money if they’d simply transfer the reservation to a different location with secure parking. After talking to other Dallas residents, in search of a different hotel, they all scoffed and said it wasn’t a safe area and that they’d never leave anything overnight in that area.
