    Bad…very bad. Not to Le Meridien standard.

    This should in no way be a Le Meridien and Marriott should be ashamed of it. The building is more Holiday Inn than mid tier brand. The rooms— while seem nice at first— have worn furniture. There are no amenities in the room…no robe, no snacks, no minibar. Oh, and NO working TV. A dozen of us are here during the Olympics. No ones room TV’s work. All “no signal”. Rooms are either boiling hot or freezing cold. Must call an engineer to regulate your temperature. Gym in basement. Lumpy bed with thin, cheap bedding. Small pillows, not king size for a king size bed. Shower and bathroom is from 1980.It’s just….not good. Marriott please delist this brand and give it over to a Hampton Inn or something.     Where to begin? My family and I stayed here for a couple of days. The entire hotel only had 1 functional elevator which was almost always filled to or past posted capacity. This of course made me nervous so we started using the stairs in the fire escape and the hotel locked the doors stating “maintenance” though it was Thanksgiving and no maintenance was being performed. Not only is this a massive code and endangerment violation, but they purposely wanted everyone to be relegated to the one elevator that was frequently beyond safe capacity. Aside from that the carpeted room was very musty and the room didn’t appear to have had a thorough cleaning in a very long time.     Terrible customer service and first impression

    This was one of the worst check-in experiences I’ve ever had at a Marriott. The front desk representative “Devyn” had no idea what they were doing, wasn’t properly trained, and flat out refused to contact anyone for help. My room was booked by my company as part of a large group reservation, fully confirmed and paid for yet I was told I couldn’t stay in it.Instead of trying to resolve the issue or even call a manager, the representative brushed me off and made zero effort to fix the situation. That level of indifference and incompetence is absolutely unacceptable, especially at a Marriott property.If this is how guests traveling on business are treated, it’s a serious reflection of failed management and poor training standards.
