  This motel served its purpose as a lodge for me, but I would say that I was not overly impressed with it.

  I stayed at this hotel for two (2) nights. I thought that the smell of marijuana was very persistent, but this hotel had a no smoking policy. In my belief, some of the guests who stayed at this motel appeared to be questionable to me, but everyone was friendly to me. I was vexed that the housekeeping did not process my room which was what I had demanded, and to follow the orders of the manager on duty, I had to bring my dirty towels down to this individual who was on desk duty in order to get some new towels. The breakfast was decent, and I especially enjoyed the waffles with the shapes of Texas. The eggs at breakfast looked odd to me, but they tasted all right. There was a gym, but a lot of the machinery looked to me as if it was in bad shape. There was a parking lot outside of this hotel. I slept fine, the television worked, the hot water was operational, the air conditioning had no issues, and I had no problem with the Internet reception. All in all, this was a budget hotel that was close to Dallas and to Fort Worth.   Modest great place to stay

  My wife and I rushed to Plano TX after our daughter had an accident. We stayed the first three days at the Richardson Hilton Double Tree, a filthy hotel $120 per night with horrible service except at breakfast. Rooms are not made even if you ask them to. Two Coke cans an two half sandwiches cost us $32. So we moved to the Quality Inn at W. Plano Parkway. They gave us a $67 per night discount and a confortable 1- King-bed bedroom with many premium TV channels for free. They make the rooms everyday, ice dispenser is also for free as well as a basic breakfast with boiled eggs, sausage, cereals or waffles, yogurt and coffee. Place is always pristinely clean. Restaurants and stores are at walking distance and many more around the corner on Preston Street. But the best of this hotel is the courteous, personalized 5-star attention we enjoyed from James at the desk. I'd recommend this modest great place to anyone not looking for luxury but to make sure that all your needs are covered to your satisfaction and that, if walking the extra mile is needed, they will gladly do it for you.   I stayed at this hotel Labor Day weekend. When I first got there I had to inform the cleaning service that the bed sheets stains on them. We’re trying to give me new towels for my room the towels were dirty. The walls inside the bathroom were dirty and in the room. Toilet seat was nasty and was stained and scratched up. I had the cleaners to clean it but it was just old and just needed to be changed. There was damage to the actual walls and mirror frame that just looks tacky. When I asked for management of all the different things that I experience I think he said to me was OK.   Ok for an overnight stay

  This hotel is outdated. The room had a stale and musky smell to it. The was not comfortable at all. I was springy. Every time my husband moved around the bed an get jolted around. Breakfast was okay but the egg had a weird texture to it. The room was barely cold and there was a limit to how high you can turn the A/C up. The remote to the TV was out dated, you have to angle it right to get the channel to change.   Hotel is convenient to everything ! All major highways minutes away .
