  I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It's conveniently located right off the highway, making it super easy to get to, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The highlight of my visit was definitely the front desk staff. They were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, even baking fresh cookies for guests. They also helped me carry my luggage up the stairs since there’s no elevator. Their hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable! Highly recommend this place for a convenient and comfortable stay.

  Horrible Tub!

  The lighting in the room was poor to say the least. The suite area (couch) which also included the refrigerator had one floor lamp.The worst thing was the bathroom. The tub was rusted (pictures included. Dead bug on the floor in the corner and dead roach I found the next morning.

  I stayed here for 3 nights. It is a nice, affordable hotel. I did not have any issues. The room was clean, the bathroom and shower/tub were clean, the air conditioning worked great, and the lobby was clean and roomy (nice seating). It's an inexpensive travel hotel not a high-end destination, so my expectations were reasonable. The breakfast was standard fare for a hotel like this - fresh fruit, toast, waffles, hot eggs and sausage. I would stay here again if I visit Sherman TX again.

  Booked for 5 nights. On checking in, the lady was friendly enough, informed us Room cleaning would be done on the 3rd day unless we requested it earlier.On the 3rd day on returning to our room, it wasn’t done. We returned to reception and were told “No we don’t do that anymore, and tomorrow is Christmas so it won’t be done either!” Although we had previously been told this, and the sticker in the bathroom states, long term stays get cleaning on the 3rd day🤷‍♀️5 nights with not so much as our bin being emptied, new toiletries or towels, very unprofessional. But the receptionist was not interested.We got new towels and was told to put the old ones outside our room, they were still sitting in the hallway the next day!Rooms are old and clearly no maintenance has been done on them for years, health department would shut them down in any other country.Curtains are dirty, stained and falling apart as they are old and rotten.Rooms on bottom floor are facing the carpark, so you have cars coming and going, waking you up all the time. Lots of noise from upstairs guests also.We have never been greeted by reception, apart from check in. There is never anyone sitting there, so no security at all.Breakfast has been standard, but that’s ok and to be expected.We wake up on Christmas Day, to find absolute no breakfast, not even cereal out, this would have been nice to know the day prior, so we could purchase food before the shops closed for the break, I guess we will have no Christmas breakfast, not very festive or helpful when your in a different country and travelling with your teenage son.We also paid for daily breakfast in our rate!The receptionist was not interested in our concern this morning, pretty much said “everything is closed” and was not interested in providing any advice or help.We have also been approached by a gentleman twice in the laundry, he has tried to get us to go to his Airbnb in downtown Sherman. We felt very uncomfortable, but again no security or reception staff to be seen, so I guess anyone can just walk in and out.Room is so dark, you can barely see, which is probably a good thing.About 6 power outlets in room, but only 1 or 2 work, if you unplug a lamp which is the only lighting.I would recommend staying at the Holiday In express, it’s in the same car park. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here!See photos attached, mouldy & rotten drapes, wall paper wet and falling off walls, stained bedding. Trash all over driveway on entering, it’s been there the whole 5 days. If we hadn’t pre paid we would have walked out the same day.

  False advertising, steals your money and horrible customer service - DO NOT STAY HERE

  False advertised to be a pet friendly hotel. Upon booking and showing up and then being told they are not friendly, they refused to give a refund and told me I had to work with the manager when they came back in on Monday. Following that week I asked to speak to the manager about this incident and I was told the manager will not be speaking to me to help resolve this issue.Do not stay here, do not do business with these people. They are rude, unhelpful and do not provide any speck of customer service. They just take your money for services not rendered.
