  The red roof is another beautiful place. I highly recommend this place to others. The people there are welcoming and nice and kind you get coffee in the morning coming outside your room. You can see Six Flags right across the street. It’s a beautiful view.   Dishonest and Unethical

  We booked this hotel through the Red Roof Inn Redi Reward line and got our hotel room confirmed for a rate of $49.50 plus tax. I know that's cheap, but this is a diminished property. We stayed here a couple of years ago when picking up our race horse from Lone Star Park....about 10 minutes away.We just needed a place to sleep before getting up very early, picking up our horse and driving back to Houston. The stories about the prostitutes roaming the property were true, but they didn't seem loud, drunk or obnoxious. It's almost like they knew which rooms they were servicing. They weren't loitering in any one spot.So our stay was okay and we need to do the same thing again. We booked a day in advance. Later in the day, the manager called me and told me that the City of Arlington had shut down the hotel so they were canceling all reservations through June 7th. I was trying to look up information on what might have happened and saw that they were still taking reservations for that day.I called the hotel manager back and asked if I could have my room back. They had moved the rate about $25.00 higher for the same type of room. He said they were doing maintenance at the hotel, but if I booked online the room would be available. Both being shut down and doing maintenance can't both be true.I hate being lied to, everyone does. I knew that what was really taking place was a money grab. Trust me, this hotel is only worth enduring if the price is low. No way it's worth $85.00 per night plus tax. So, a huge thumbs down to the Red Roof Inn Arlington for their dishonest business practices.I called Red Roof Inn's customer service and got bounced around all over India. No one was helpful or even curious about the franchisor's ethics. it's a shame because I generally like Red Roof Inn and have stayed in about 20 over the years. I'm not going to abandon the franchise, but this treatment was downright disgusting.If the manager reads these reviews, SHAME ON YOU!   needs a lot work

  Its like this.. It wasnt where I wanted to stay. I thought it was closer to the at&t stadium for the kenny chesney concert 2024. it turned out to be the worse place i stayed in a long time. It felt like I was there to buy drugs or be solicited for prostitution. the door to the bathroom looked like a murder scene was used for on NCIS. The roomed smelt like smoke. if you have other options go somewhere else. I was too tired to drive home after the concert.   Do Not Disturb

  The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was very dated and worn. They offered a nice welcome treat of water and snacks for free. On my last day, I had my "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. A man with a cleaning cart knocked on my door to find out when I was leaving. It was 9:30 and checkout was 11. I told him 11. He said okay, but did not apologize for disturbing me.   Red Roof Inn on Watson Rd. in Arlington its right across Six Flags with the convenience of walking to the Park and also right around the corner the I30 Highway to take us to Hurricane Harbor! This place is well taken care of by great and friendly management and Housekeeping staff.I definitely recommend Red Inn for the best and confortable time in the DFW area; also PETS stay for free!
