  Nice place to stay when traveling.

  It was a nice place for a layover before traveling on. The staff was very friendly and greeted me when I arrived. We stayed on the 10th floor. The hallway was hot when we got off the elevator. The room was cool and clean. The TV would go in and out of signal which was disappointing. The breakfast was outstanding! Such variety. Not the usual. The staff lady at breakfast was so sweet and helpful. EMPLOYEE THEFT OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF CORPORATE PROPERTY ON CAMERAThe front desk staff offered to hold my belongings while I was in the hospital and acted like they were helping—only to turn around, take my property, and then claim they never had it, even though it was handed to them directly at the front desk on camera.On December 3, I was hospitalized and trusted this hotel with thousands of dollars worth of personal property, including my laptop. This was not informal—everything was given to staff at the front desk and documented on surveillance.The very next day, an authorized individual contacted the hotel and was clearly told my belongings would be held for up to 30 days. They even asked to have their contact information noted to make sure nothing happened to my items.Just days later, when we tried to arrange pickup, the hotel suddenly began denying they ever had my property. This is false. On a recorded call, staff admitted they had my belongings—then later reversed course and continued to deny it entirely.Since then, I have called repeatedly, my authorized representative has called, and even my attorney has contacted the hotel multiple times. Every attempt has been met with the same response: denial, no accountability, and no effort to resolve what happened.My property has never been returned.This is beyond unacceptable. If a hotel can take possession of your belongings, acknowledge having them, and then later deny it with no explanation, that should concern every guest.Nobody’s property is safe here. Especially if you are a business traveler relying on important equipment, do not trust this location. If something goes wrong, you may be left with nothing and no answers.I will never stay at this hotel again.   Not bad but not great

  It’s good, but not great. First of all, parking is crazy expensive. I’m sorry but almost 38$ a day to not even really be near any main attractions seems crazy. I’m sorry, it’s close to Medieval Times. But nothing not much else. The rooms are nice, and I appreciated the upgrade. Room was clean and the housekeeping actually took out the trash which was shocking. So a few key wins. The lounge… ya that was disappointing. Healthy snack options in the evening kinda don’t exist, minus the sad fruit bowl of apples. Breakfast… I don’t know what is going on with Marriott because it’s not specific to this property. But, the lounge had toast, bagels, English muffins, flavored muffins, some oatmeal.. etc. instead of putting out normal eggs, nope they give us premade breakfast sandwiches the size of a macaroon. Why? All the carb options are there to make whatever sandwich we want? But they take away the low carb options. Why? Room rates for this hotel are high, traffic in the area sucks, parking is outrageous and the lounge is subpar. If they fixed the lounge it would be better but I won’t book here again.   Just an average hotel nothing special.the rooms were OK and quiet even though it was next to the highway.The breakfast was just OK as well.I found the prices a little above average considering the quality did not match.   First off- the staff was wonderful!!!!! Especially the woman that was there as I checked in and out! Such a genuine and kind human!!!!!!!! Stay was good. Room was ok- there was a light out in the bathroom mirror which made it difficult to see when putting on makeup, but it wasn’t terrible. I did find a few small ants on the wall near the bar. I was on the 10th floor so it was unexpected to see especially when I didn’t have food in my room. I did have a great view and the shower was wonderful! I love good water pressure. I liked that there was no carpet. You can tell updates were done but some were just cover ups- so a little messy. But over all very nice stay. Ordered salmon from the restaurant and it was very good- especially the side of veggies! A little on the pricey side especially because I also had to pay about $70 for two nights of parking. But you are really paying for the location as I had a conference at market center which was an easy 5 min drive!
