  We had five rooms at once my friends in the medical field was on vacation and we had an amazing time.   Spacious room with nice amenities like coffee, refrigerator and microwave. The personnel were very friendly and helpful. We were in a handicapped accessible room which was great for my husband. Very comfortable king bed. The only real negative was they had a lower closet rod that was so low that all our hanging bags dragged when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.”when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.”on the floor. Maybe they can put half the closet with a rod that is higher for the other guests. The lower¹¹ rod could be raised and still reached by someone in a chair. The breakfast was ½We would definitely recommend this hotel.

  I booked our stay there because it got a 4 1/2 rating. How anyone came up with anything more than a 3 rating is beyond me. This is why I am giving this hotel a 2 rating: The positives:The hotel was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable.The negatives:Upon checking in I was informed that the rate was going to be $7.91 more than my reservation quote stated. I was told it was because "taxes had increased". I stated that if that was the case, Choice Hotels would have informed me of this rate increase. This problem meant me having to stop by the front desk on at least 3 other occasions. I wonder how many other guests get scammed out of a few dollars every day? The internet would go in and out and stay out for long periods of time. Frustrating. The breakfast food and coffee were always lukewarm. When I checked in, I specifically requested that housekeeping NOT make up my room everyday and that I would get new towels and toiletries as needed. On the 3rd day it was discovered that someone had actually been in the room and done some housekeeping. This was after I had housekeeping at my door to give me the new towels I needed and I told the staff member that I did not need the room made up. Perhaps others have given this hotel a high rating because it was considered a bonus to find someone sleeping at the front door of the hotel at 2 pm on a Friday. The location of the upholstered chair and desk chair was horrible as the air conditioner was blowing directly on me. Finally, I was never recognized as a Choice Hotel Elite member which is not the be all to end all but I earned the right to be recognized. There are many other choices of hotels in Dallas and many others in better parts of town. There is NO way the value of this hotel is anywhere worth what I paid for it.I did receive an email from the manager stating that he was sorry my stay failed to meet my expectations. My stay did not even come close to meeting my expectations.

  I believe I was Scammed DO NOT STAY HERE!

  I will give no stars if possible this was the worst stay in a “hotel” I have Ever had! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The staff seem friendly at first but no one knows what’s going on and it doesn’t seem like they speak to one another. The rooms are filthy bathroom is caked up with soap scum on the showerhead!! Room also had ants all over the only desk in the room and I didn’t realize it until it was crawling over my cup and food containers. The room set up is also ridiculous all of the king rooms have NO windows to the outside, no instead your ONLY window is looking into the “hotel” lobby where people are sitting and walking by, so you really just shut up in a dark room unless you have all your lights on all the time, No Privacy!!! Unfortunately that is not the worse was what I had to deal with, I paid for my entire stay upfront before I even got to my room my first room rather( I had to change to a double just to get an actual window), yeah they kept calling me and wake me up out of my sleep in the middle of the night about a charge that didn’t go through this happened TWICE!!! The first time they asked me to come all the way back down to the lobby front desk so that I could speak with them about what happened now I knew that everything went through because at the beginning Cynthia, the manager, processed everything and said I everything was good to go my bank account also let me know that everything went through fine. Get here they are calling me in the middle of the night to come downstairs to talk about a mistake on their end when the other employee finally did some more digging she realize that oh I was right and everything was fine after all and not to worry about it this took about 20 minutes or so however it was still very difficult to get back to sleep. Mind you I went through the whole day without anyone saying anything until the middle of that night so here I am the next day sluggish still kind of irritated about what happened the night prior but going about my day nonetheless. I get through my first full day at this place take a shower and get in the bed fall asleep, AND HERE THEY ARE CALLING ME AGAIN ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE!!! I’m like does your staff not know how to communicate with one another! This is a different girl all together and she tells me that her GM Rama told her to call me and if they needed to me to come down and speak to them about the same issue I told her I’m not coming down there and then I’m sick of this nonsense and I’m hanging up. The CRACK of dawn the next morning I get up pack up all my things and head down to check out. This was a little young ignorant boy who kept referring to one of his coworkers as “the white girl” and told me that I would get my refund because “they don’t keep nobodies money”. Well apparently they do because not only have I not gotten my refund for my remaining days that I did not stay there and also a refund for the days that they completely ruined while I was staying there but come to find out they had me still checked in at that “hotel” after I checked out and went to a different one. oh and did I mention that every time they called me and even at checkout they tried to adjust the price to two times what I had already paid them incredibly risible. They are absolutely SCAMMERS I couldn’t be told different, Please DO NOT stay here I really would hate for you to have to go through something even remotely similar to what I went through hope this helps I wish I saw something like this.

  I have stayed here several times over the past three years and this was the worst yet. The staff was unfriendly and rude. Room service left a lot to be desired. The breakfast was not even close to being good. This stay was from 15 March to 03 April due to medical issues. Needless to say, this was the worst stay of any Choice hotel ever.We will never stay at this hotel ever again.
