    Worst Stay of My Entire Life - Horrible, Rude Manager!

    I checked in to this place because it was dog friendly and had a kitchenette. I work remotely and needed a place to stay until I could move into my house. I was paid through Monday at check out and on Sunday night I went to the desk and paid for two more days - I was due to check out on Wednesday. When I looked at the receipt and print out of my account the way it read made no sense so I went to the desk and the Manager was unbelievingly rude from the moment I walked up - she went over the bill with me but her explanation ended with me checking out on Tuesday - I had payed thru Wednesday and kept asking her if, when I came to the desk on Sunday night, there was a balance on my account as I thought I was payed up at that point and was adding on two additional nights - she kept saying I was to check out on Tuesday and never would answer my question. To my thinking, there must have been some kind of outstanding balance for the money I paid to only cover one night when it should have been two. I could never get an answer out of her and kept asking her over and over to please give me an answer. This irritated her to the point that she told me I needed to be out by the next day. Since all of this transpired at 1am I assumed she meant the following day, not that very morning. at 11 I was in the middle of a Zoom meeting for work and another lady pounds on the door and says I have one hour to get out or she is calling the police. Mind you, I was paid up for another day, and other than trying to get her to explain the wacky charges on my account print out and trying to find out what ate up the money I paid for two extra nights, I had done absolutely nothing to warrant being thrown out or threatened with the police! This lady was absolutely horrible to me - FOR NO REASON AT ALL. She had no right to make me leave when I had paid to be there for another day and was not doing anything to disturb anyone, was in my room working!! This was the worst stay I've ever had - in addition to being treated terribly, my room stunk so bad I could barely stand it, the ice maker didn't work, and neither did the TV. I finally figured out the cable and got the tv to work on my own. The room wasn't very clean either. Worst stay of my entire life!!     Stayed for work and I can’t complain. The room was nice (fridge was kinda dated but working) laundry was free, gym is okay and everyone I talked to was helpful. I’d stay again.     I adore the staff at this location. Everyone was so helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and I was close to everything I needed.It is kinda creepy being next to a cemetery and the washers and dryer either didn't work or people were hogging them but everything else was good.     Clean well-appointed hotel. Great price. Staff was friendly. Great idea for breakfast by having a little cafe. Only negative is overly perfumed sent pervades the building and would have liked a full length mirror in my room. Would definitely stay here again.     This was the best stay ever: great service and wonderful accommodations. Everyone is so helpful and remembers me, feels like a second home. If you need a long term stay this is the place to be. Set up like a small apartment, free washer & dryer.
