  I have stayed at this hotel many times and it is usually very clean and quiet. This time I was there for a total of 3 nights and it was awful. The water was off all day on Friday, there were roaches everywhere, the shower & tub faucet was broken, the sink faucet was leaking and there was a very large spot of fresh blood on the couch. The entire room was very unsanitary but I didn’t have anywhere else to go because it was a holiday weekend. Also, the air conditioner would only stay on for about 3 minutes and then the compressor would shut off. I spoke with the manager about all of these issues and nothing was done to resolve them.   Staff friendly helpful and the room was clean bed was comfortable didn't make it down for breakfast but it smelled good.   In a sticky situation

  The bed cover had holes in it and the desk was very sticky and dirty. There was a homeless person sleeping outside the back door that we had to walk through to get to our vehicle and bags! Very unsafe no security and the room was not well kept! I had to buy Clorox bleach wipes just to clean all the sticky surfaces. If we weren’t desperate we wouldn’t have stayed here! Gross .   Confused how this has a higher rating. We were greeted with a surley 'what' when we arrived to a small box of a room before the actual lobby. Not very welcoming. The lobby is permanently closed it seems. Checking in online is a waste of time, they make you do it all on paper again when you arrive because it wasn't with them. They have a $40 deposit required that is not mentioned anywhere, when asking about, we got eye rolls and a reply of 'call them, they'll tell you,' without any context of who the 'them' to call is. The front desk staff in the evening could learn some customer service skills and manners. The room was fine, but everything else was a bit run down/dirty. Breakfast was pretty sad, three pieces of bread, a broken juice machine, a single apple and some yoghurt made up most of it. We ate elsewhere. The area did not feel particularly safe either.   A moment of peace before I go to work

  I work for a company nearby and every time I go into the office I make sure to spend the night at this hotel. It's a family-run business that makes you feel like you're a part of the family. Always enjoy my stay.
