Facility

The hotel has 432 rooms, which are located on 21 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

The indoor and outdoor pools are ideal for exercise as well as relaxation. Guests can relax and enjoy the sun loungers and parasols provided. The pool bar serves a selection of refreshing drinks.     Avoid this hotel

    I stayed at this hotel for a week. During my stay, the hotel booked my room to another guest. While in my room, another guest walked right in with their own key. My privacy was violated. I spoke with hotel management immediately after the event, and they could not explain why it happened. Avoid this hotel. They do not value your privacy.     Not so good experience

    I stay at this hotel all the time and have never had a bad experience. My last stay on May 9th when I traveled down for mother's Day to decorate my mom's grave the experience was different. I already had paid for my room and was charged at the hotel again for my room. I understand mistakes however no one wanted to help and when I was transferred to a number that was supposed to help of course voicemail. It took them two days to call back and when calling they acted as if they did not know the situation at first. After I asked if you reviewed the notes for me then it was I know what is needed. The person over the phone chuckled as I was explaining to her and was telling me information that I already knew. Then I was told by the front desk person I spoke with the second time calling I would be comped for my valet parking because of the inconvenience and when explaining that to her over the phone she stated "I don't see this and I can't, I will need to speak with Valet". I explained that it wasn't Valet that said or done anything this is what was told by the front desk agent and again she chuckled as if I was stupid. This was not my normal experience however this time was not cool. As of today I still haven't gotten my refund for the mistake that was made.     Worst Westin I’ve experienced

    Awful hotel - I had a room on the 15th floor for a week long conference and the bed pelmet had orange stain on it, made reception aware, there were drilling/ power screwdriver noises at 6am in the morning on two days and again made reception aware, on checkout i again made reception aware of my experience and nothing. The bedding stunk of food or something, not very fresh and this made me wonder about the carpet and other upholstery in the room. Overall it was a disgrace for a Westin and management still never contacted me regarding my experience.     Falls short of Westin standards

    You can’t beat the location if you work in the area as it’s attached to the Galleria Mall and you can walk to many of the office buildings without going outside. And the common area in the lobby is nice. After that it goes downhill fast.The hallways and rooms have a musty smell which is a shame because aren’t Westin’s supposed to smell nice? The rooms are large, but old. The bathroom has 1 sink and mine had broken tile and was beat up. The days of any Westin specialness are long over. Yes, it has a heavenly bed. But who can sleep well when the A/C keeps going off at night despite having it low! Why give us the ability to adjust A/C only to shut it off on us because of motion sensors. So I slept horrible.No products out. No lotions. One sad bar of soap. Those screwed-into-the-wall dispensers for shampoo and such I don’t dare use because god-knows when they have been replaced/cleaned. Ordered room service and it showed up like it’s April 2020, handed to me in a paper bag and a styrofoam container with plastic utensils. For a brand that wants to be all sustainable not to give me my own bath products, they see no problem handing me a bag full of plastic and styrofoam. Housekeeping was good, no issues there. It’s still way better than the LM across the street and likely best option in the area but doesn’t live up to the Westin name.     I would not stay at this hotel again. It’s overpriced for what you get. There’s no self-parking unless you pay for valet, no breakfast offered, and the facilities feel outdated. The gym was dirty, and several machines were not working.Check-in and check-out were confusing and poorly managed. During my three-day stay, my room was never cleaned, and no fresh towels were provided, even though I was out of the room most of the day. For $250 per night, I expected a much higher standard.Staff from reception were knocking on my door every day asking why I was there and whether I was extending my stay, even though I had already reserved and paid for three days. It felt intrusive and very disorganized.The only nice part of the hotel is the lobby, but even that is constantly busy and crowded.
