    Outstanding Customer Service

    rating02 Feb 2026

The hotel was nice as expected, and a great location which I wanted, but what really set it over the top was the customer service! I was confused on my reservation and when I called with questions, Rhonda was so helpful! She took time to understand exactly what I was asking, then made sure the answer I got on the phone was what I got when I arrived. Huge thank you to her! General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel, responded to this review Hello, Sav-marten.Wonderful to read your kind words about your experience. We’re glad our downtown Fort Worth Sundance Square district location fit your plans, and even more so that Rhonda’s warm care made your stay seamless. We know that navigating reservations can be tricky, and it means a lot that Rhonda was able to clear things up and follow through from your call to your arrival. We’ll be sure to share your gratitude with her—she loves turning moments like these into memorable stays. Should your travels bring you back to Fort Worth, we’d be honored to welcome you again and help you discover something new, perhaps with a handcrafted latte at Corrida Coffee to start your day.Best regards,The Worthington Team

    Poor customer service

    rating16 Jan 2026

Very poor customer service experience. My wife and I planned a quick one night stay during my only free weekend for our anniversary. Our child became ill and we had to cancel. I requested a refund (I know that’s not guaranteed) and my message back was “decline”. I messaged back explaining the situation on how it was for our anniversary and how our child became sick last minute and the response I received again was simply “decline”. No effort to offer a solution, no mention of being sorry for the inconvenience, not even a mention of being sorry that our child was sick. Really disappointed in the overall experience. Will certainly not be returning. General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel, responded to this review Regretfully, thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sincerely sorry to hear your anniversary plans were disrupted and, even more so, that our response to your situation felt impersonal during such a difficult time. You deserved empathy and a thoughtful explanation—not just a brief reply—when reaching out about your cancellation and your child’s illness. We understand how disappointing it is when life takes an unexpected turn, and our guest communications didn’t match the caring Texas spirit we’re known for in downtown Fort Worth’s Sundance Square district. We’ve addressed your feedback with our team to ensure future requests receive more compassion and clarity. While we respect your decision, we’re grateful you brought this to our attention so we can do better. Should you wish to discuss your experience further, please reach out to us directly.Sincerely,The Worthington Team

    Poor Customer Service Environment

    rating05 Jan 2026

My husband booked this getaway for our wedding anniversary. We received confirmation of our room and were prompted to check-in one day early, which was completed immediately. In our accommodation noted we stated the approximate time of arrival as well when prompted if we were celebrating anything special we notated our anniversary. Upon arrival there was immediate murmuring and eyes looking at each other. It was obvious our room was given away. We expressed that this was for our anniversary. That we took every measure to ensure that we weren’t disappointed. However per there management you booked through a third party so there are no guarantees regarding your booking. When I expressed that I checked in via the Marriott Bonvoy app. They expressed to me that they didn’t see anything however this is a Marriott app not a 3rd party app. No remorse, no ownership, not even a Happy Anniversary I’m very sorry. After the manager walked away someone offered us a $60 dollar credit. Very nice when we spent $600 dollars on a room that we did not desire. Maybe you only had room for the Teams you hosted. The poor service that we received equates your hotel to a 2 star Hotel. no class General Manager, Guest Services / Front Office at The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel, responded to this review Regretfully, adrienner2026, we’re disheartened to read about your experience, especially as your anniversary should’ve been marked by genuine warmth and ease. We sincerely apologize that your special occasion began with confusion at check-in and feelings of disregard. It’s unacceptable that our team didn’t acknowledge your milestone or show empathy when your room expectation wasn’t met—especially after you made every effort to communicate your plans. While third-party bookings may sometimes limit certain guarantees, we should’ve taken clear ownership and offered sincere congratulations, not left you feeling brushed aside. We’re reviewing this incident closely to reinforce attentive, caring service for every guest, no matter how they book. Please reach out to us directly if you’re open to further conversation or resolution. Thank you for sharing your story; we deeply hope you’ll allow us the chance to restore your trust.Best regards,The Worthington Team
