My reservation was for one night with my 15 year old son for a tennis tournament. All we did was sleep, shower and check out. But after we checked in my son called from the shower saying there was NO body wash or shampoo left, all the dispensers were empty that means there was no inspection from the staff. A month after that I received a bank statement I got a $200 charge for a broken lamp than we had never touched once during our stay, they sent a picture from the storage room of the "broken lamp" and i still don't have the receipt on my Hilton account for this charge. If there was no inspection done then why am I being charged $200?

I’ve stayed in other Homes2Suites and would rate this average. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was clean with exception of large stain on one bed and lamp shade missing. Staff made up bed and changed towels after second night but nothing else. Breakfast was standard fare but nothing outstanding. Convenient to speedway.

I booked the reservation through Booking.com which is Expedia. For the night of May 29, 2025. I acknowledged I have a small dog. I drive from Maryland to Daytona Beach for my granddaughters high school graduation. The reservation was for one night for $168 with taxes and fees included. I drive for fifteen hours and go to check in. I am told there is an additional $75 fee for my pet. Of course I was upset, who wouldn’t be? I refused to pay the $75 as it wasn’t disclosed and I would never have agreed to it. The representative was extremely nasty . Then she tells me not only am I not going to get my $168 refunded but I am trespassing and I am to leave the property immediately. I am a two time Honorably Discharged veteran who is also disabled. It sickens me that I was treated like a criminal. Stay away from this property. I will never give another dollar to any Hilton property. Also you need to know that when you book through a third party you are not getting any help from them as they are at the mercy of the property. Very nice & clean rooms here. It’s a good hotel to stay at , front desk very professional. I will definitely stay here again. It is also right across from the Daytona International Speedway. A convenient spot to stay at in between target and a mall, not far from the beaches Zac Waddell, Owner at Home2 Suites by Hilton Daytona Beach Speedway, responded to this review Thanks so much for your 5-star review! Avoid at all costs!! Hotel canceled reservation and refuses to do anything.

Made a reservation back in January 2024 for a trip in January 2025. Booked the hotel first as we knew it would be a busy weekend in that area due to the Rolex24. Since we had a hotel, we bought race tickets and booked flights. In June I got a "your reservation has been canceled" email out of nowhere. Called the reservation number in a panic and they said the hotel canceled my reservation. I was transferred to a person named Morrie (or something similar) who told me the hotel was reserved on blocks for the weekend and my reservation wasn't valid so it was canceled and there was nothing he could do. He suggested calling the Diamond Desk to see if they could help (we're Diamond members). They could see notes in my file saying that "the Diamond Desk forced my reservation through when the hotel was full". However, they said it shows I made the reservation in the app on my phone. They called the hotel and spoke to the same person who refused to help again. So now I have a tickets and a flight to a race in Daytona with no hotel to stay at. The app still shows rooms available and everyone I've reachef out to keeps bouncing me to someone else. LEARN FROM OUR NIGHTMARE AND AVOID THIS HOTEL IF YOU ACTUALLY NEED A ROOM!!
