  After many years as Hilton Honors members and stays at numerous hotels, this is the first property that has truly impressed us enough to leave a review.This Homewood Suites by Hilton is exceptionally well managed and immaculately clean throughout. The entire property is spotless, and our suite was fresh, spacious, and meticulously maintained—clearly reflecting the pride taken by housekeeping and maintenance staff.What truly sets this hotel apart is the outstanding team. Evan at the front desk provided a warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming check-in experience, even accommodating a special request with ease. Despite working long hours, he consistently greeted guests with the same energy and positivity.Breakfast was equally impressive thanks to Shannon, who kept everything clean, well-stocked, and organized. Her attentiveness stood out—when coffee ran out, she personally brought a fresh cup while a new pot brewed, demonstrating exceptional care for guests.Overall, this hotel delivers a rare combination of cleanliness, comfort, and truly dedicated staff. Evan and Shannon, in particular, made our stay memorable. We highly recommend this property and will absolutely return when visiting the Daytona Beach area.

  Great room not so great service

  I recently stayed at this property and found the room to be clean and spacious. I especially appreciated having a full kitchen, which was very convenient. However, the refrigerator was showing signs of rust and appears to be due for replacement. The small closet door was broken, and the ironing board was old, stained, and in poor condition.The complimentary breakfast was disappointing, with very limited options, although I understand it was included in the room rate.Unfortunately, my experience at checkout was even more disappointing.My checkout time was 11:00 a.m. On the morning of June 7, I had gathered most of my belongings but left a few items in the freezer while I attended an event nearby. I made sure to leave the “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door and returned around 10:00 a.m., well before checkout time, only to discover that housekeeping had already entered my room.When I contacted the front desk, I was initially told that housekeeping believed I had already checked out and was later told that I had supposedly left the door open, which is simply not true. I was even asked to return to the hotel because I was told housekeeping had my items, causing me to spend additional time and gas driving back, only for the entire trip to be unnecessary.What disappointed me most was not the value of the items themselves, but the fact that my room was entered before checkout time despite the privacy sign being displayed, and that I received little acknowledgment or apology for the inconvenience this caused.Mistakes happen, but guests should be able to trust that their room and belongings will not be disturbed before their stay officially ends. I hope management reviews their procedures and maintenance standards to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

  This experience was horrible i’ve never seen anything or experiencing anything like this.As a Hilton Gold member, I am extremely disappointed with my stay. My room was not properly cleaned for two consecutive days—conditions were outright filthy, with visible mold and trash left behind. It was disgusting and far below even basic hospitality standards.I brought this to the attention of Jacob, the general manager, but the issue was not resolved to a satisfactory level. This level of neglect is unacceptable for a Hilton property and reflects a deeply subpar experience.There are far better options within the Hilton brand, including Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn—do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else! Gross!!

  Max did an excellent Job as always!

  We had some issues however Max took care of it, Max is the best! we will stay soon on our upcoming vacation on May 2026, Thank you Max for being excellent service, the kitchen staff are real friendly, we always stay this location as it was very convenient for going to Miami. We love Daytona Beach too. This is our 4th time stay.

  I stayed at this hotel on a weekend family visit. I was pleased and not so pleased. Upon arrival the suite I booked and checked in for online was not available. The manager stated she tried to contact me about two hours before my arrival but I had no missed call or voice mail. I was kindly upset. She gave us then a discount on another room. I must say that the rooms are exactly like the photos, however our 1st floor room had ants on the table. On two occasions we had to go to the front desk because the room keys didn't work. The manager came to reprogram the locks and they still didn't work. Generally, without these incidents our stay would probably have been great.
