    Great Stay 20 Minutes Away From Downtown Denver

    We stayed as a family of 5 for a weekend. We had a really wonderful experience. The staff was always very friendly and welcoming. I had two rooms and called ahead to request these rooms be near each other. They were able to accommodate my request and we were able to check in earlier than advertised. The pancake machine was broken during our weekend, which was a slight disappointment during breakfast time for my kids. The rooms were quiet, the hotel didn't seem busy or crowded, we nearly had the pool to ourselves all weekend. There are so many restaurants and stores nearby and within walking distance which was wonderful. The drive from this location to downtown Denver is about 20 minutes. Overall, this was a great hotel stay.

    Crazy Experience, Decent Hotel

    My daughter and I were in Denver for a basketball tournament. We found this hotel as it was between downtown and the airport. When we arrived we had a 1 bedroom suite. The room was huge. Nice living area and a king size bed in the other room. It was one of the biggest rooms I have had at a Holiday Inn Express. Too bad we didn’t get to enjoy it. Our issue came in the first night. At 2 am I started hearing water dripping. I went into the bathroom to check and water was pouring from the ceiling into the bathroom. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone up. 10 minutes later security showed up and said he would look into it. It ends up that the person above us fell asleep with the water on in the tub. Now it has been around 20 minutes in the middle of the night. I called back to the front desk asking for a new room. I was told they were sold out and that they couldn’t help me. We couldn’t stay where we were. I was told to wait and she would get back to me. Finally 15 minutes later someone came up and they moved us to another room as someone didn’t show up. Good thing since I don’t know what we would have done without a room. This room was OK but not as nice and not what we paid for. Finally back to sleep. The next morning I went to speak to the front desk about the issue and to see what they would do for us due to the issue. The person working was not very helpful and said they could give us some IHG points. This was not acceptable. I asked for a manger and was told she was on maternity leave. I asked for someone that could help me. She said someone would be in later in the day. Finally I found someone to help. She said she couldn’t guarantee but she gave me her number and told me she would call me when she resolved the issue. Finally we were taken care of. Crazy experience.     Room OK; neighborhood dicey; no provisions to feed travelers leaving early

    Stayed here because I had a 7 AM flight from nearby Denver International Airport. Room was reasonably clean; not great. Neighborhood was dicey, and the parking lot was not fenced, so I put a brake pedal lock on the car to increase the odds that it'd be there in the morning. Could have let all the defects slide except for one thing: I discovered that they started breakfast at 6:30 AM (long after I would have to be at the airport) and DID NOT HAVE ANY GRAB-AND-GO food for early travelers. I managed with a protein bar I'd brought, but frankly it isn't acceptable for an airport-adjacent hotel not to have SOME provision to feed early travelers. Will stay elsewhere next time.

    Every thing was good. From the friendly greeting to the cleanliness of the room. They had a small snack area near reception that had drinks, snacks and even ice-cream. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was OK for a hotel. Everything worked well in the room. TV was easy to operate.

    Room was clean was pretty basic. TV had trouble with signal interference. The bathroom especially the sink could use an upgrade. The sink's water fixture is old and has pretty bad water pressure. The positive was room was quiet and had a pretty good sleep.
