    horrible experience, they will steal from you if you accidently leave an item in room

    Drove 9 hours to stay at this Hotel, while attending a concert there, and housekeeping stole from me. I left my smart watch sitting on the desk. Confirmed by 2 others that stayed with me. I checked out of hotel, and realized I forgot it. called to see if it was turned in shortly after I left, they tried to brush me off and say nobody found it, they refused to check with the housekeeper that cleaned the room. Refused to look into it. Called the next day and some really rude guy hung up on me when I asked if it was found. That is clear evidence they stole it. so my lovely trip ended up losing 350.00 that was stolen by some staff at the Hotel. DIdn't even act like they cared or would check on it. Will never stay there again, very dishonest people!!!! and theives!     Very disappointing experience.We were scheduled to check in at 3:00 PM and arrived to find the hotel closed, with poorly handwritten signs taped to the door stating there was no electricity. There was no prior notice, no email, no phone call—nothing.We had an event scheduled 10 minutes from this hotel, and instead of resting, we had to spend over an hour scrambling to find alternative accommodations. We were traveling with a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old who were exhausted and cold, which made this situation even more stressful.I understand that power outages are sometimes unavoidable. What is unacceptable is the complete lack of communication. A simple courtesy call or message would have allowed us to plan ahead and avoid this inconvenience. To make matters worse, my reservation was still active and my IHG points were deducted, even though the hotel was clearly closed. When I contacted IHG, I was told the property is privately owned and that follow-up should have come from the hotel itself. It took significant effort just to reach someone at the front desk. I stay exclusively at IHG hotels and have never left a negative review before, but this experience especially in cold weather was extremely frustrating and handled very poorly. I expect my points to be refunded promptly and hope this situation is taken seriously so it does not happen to other guests.

    Front staff friendly, 1 of 2 elevators broken out entire 5 day stay, breakfast was not great, served same sausage and omelettes 3 of 4 breakfasts, bacon and biscuits only once, muffins and bread looked unappealing, only 2 types of tea bags, no toppings for pancakes other than syrup and butter. Tiles in our shower had been painted over something black underneath but done very sloppily, bathroom cabinet and mirror very worn and not clean looking, headboard missing decorative trim exposing particle board from underneath. Beds were comfortable, carpet looked new. Location great for Red Rocks concert, close to Golden, not much else around it but we knew that. Great Mexican restaurant nearby. For an average price of $285 overpriced for basic amenities and lacklustre breakfasts.

    Heartbreaking. They threw away a treasured baby blanket...threw it away! After<10 hours. And Manager Eddie mocked me.

    My grandson has slept with his Gigi blankie for 5,657 days...every day of his life. When we realized he left it on the hotel bed, we called immediately and spoke with Ivan who said it would be held for 60 days. I called Ivan 3 times, offered a $200 reward, and assured him I would be there the next morning. I drove 90 miles to the hotel and got the runaround from manager Eddie. I finally asked if it had been thrown away. They got the housekeeping staff member who cleaned our room and showed him this picture, and he said he threw it away...the same day. When I questioned why they would throw it away when we were told it would be held for 60 days. Eddie said, "He thought it was trash, and after looking at the picture (attached) and the way you made it, I would say it was trash, too." I asked if I could go through the trash in the dumpster and was told waste management had come earlier that morning. Right before I arrived. THEY THREW IT AWAY WITHIN A FEW HOURS. Eddie, the manager, offered no compassion...not even an apology. When I asked why they would tell us they would hold it for 60 days and then throw it away, he said, "I'm DONE talking." Through my tears, I asked if he could say something as simple as, "I'm sorry that happened." He said, "I said I'm DONE talking." I didn't raise my voice...I was talking through tears.If you value your personal items, if you hope to be treated courteously, if you have an expectation that the managerial staff will tell the truth and treat you with respect, DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Eddie, the day manager was rude, unprofessional, and cold-hearted to a grandmother trying to find a treasured blankie.

    Nice, clean and updated. We needed a place to stay on the way to Utah and it was easy to get off the interstate and stay here, good pizza place right next door too. Great fitness center, decent breakfast. Felt like this was in a safe location as well.
