    Everything was great. I booked the king studio suite and it’s the best room ever. My flight was severely delayed so I didn’t get to enjoy the room as much but everything in the room was great! In the morning I got delicious breakfast from the lobby and after I walked across to Urban Sombrero for some mimosas. My room was facing the highway but the noise was no problem. I’m not sure why there are negative reviews for this hotel! I can’t comment on the front desk staff, just because I didn’t have any interactions with them. I would highly recommend this hotel!

    Smoking fee hustle

    I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Homewood Suites by Hilton Denver airport .The manager, Renae, was unprofessional, very rude, and dishonest in how my situation was handled. Instead of resolving concerns respectfully, the interaction felt dismissive and confrontational.I was also charged a smoking fee because I left some tobacco products in the unit despite not smoking in the room. I completely understand hotel policies, but applying a smoking charge when no smoking occurred is unacceptable. When I tried to address it, I did not receive a fair or transparent explanation. It honestly felt like a money grab rather than a legitimate policy enforcement due to the fact the cameras on property can verified i was smoking in designated smoking area .Customer service starts at the top, and unfortunately this experience left a very negative impression. I expected professionalism, transparency, and basic respect.Due to this experience, I would not recommend staying here it also makes me feel like Renae probably gets a commission from these charges

    I had a great experience with the front desk during my stay, thanks to Renee. She went above and beyond to help me with a complicated situation and was patient, friendly, and professional every time I called.She gave me very detailed directions on where to find the hotel shuttle at the airport and arranged it for me, which made my arrival much easier. When I arrived at the hotel, she greeted me by name with a warm welcome …her memory is impressive and it immediately made me feel valued.I also observed her interactions with other guests, and she was consistently kind, attentive, and professional with everyone. Renee made a positive impression on my stay and deserves recognition for her excellent service.

    I chose this hotel as I was arriving after 11 PM and called first to confirm they would be still offering the shuttle at that time.. I was assured the shuttle ran until 1:30 in the morning and all I had to do was call upon arrival. I booked the hotel and I called at 11:57 PM to advise that I had arrived and I was told the shuttle would take 30 minutes. Meanwhile, it’s a 10 minute ride as the hotel was only 5 miles from the airport. I was also advised that the shuttle driver would call me upon their approach to the pick up area so that I could go outside. I was waiting outside and saw the shuttle drive right past me: no phone call, no stop. I called the front desk and I was told that the driver had allegedly called me and when they called the driver while I was on hold, the driver told them that I was on the shuttle, which was obviously not true. I was then told I had to wait another 30 minutes for the shuttle to come back. I then called the front desk again and I spoke to Kirsten who told me that the shuttle is not the responsibility of the hotel that it is a third-party shuttle. She then transferred me to her supervisor Renee, who then advised me that the shuttle is not a third-party and it is employed by Hilton employees, and not a third-party as Kirsten had just stated. Renee was extremely condescending and rude and said that Kirsten was new and didn’t know the rules. She claimed that the driver also made a mistake and said that I was on the shuttle when in fact I wasn’t. I stated that this was unacceptable customer service and that I only booked the hotel because I had previously confirmed the shuttle information and all of it was incorrect and it didn’t matter that I had status with Hilton. I told Renee that I didn’t appreciate her condescending attitude and she blurted out her general manager‘s name Eric Finney. Clearly, this must be something standard with their customer service that they have this attitude that they don’t care what people think. Needless to say, I would not recommend this hotel. There are plenty other hotels in the area that are not Hilton brand that deserve my business with this kind of attitude.. I even told Renee that I was in the hospitality business as well and she didn’t seem to care. It took a total of an hour and 45 minutes to get to my room with zero apologies and any type of customer service. DO NOT STAY HERE

    During our entire stay, everyone at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast there was great. My husband had the breakfast tacos, and I had the fresh fruit (FRESH cantaloupe, pineapple, huge blueberries, bananas, and apples). There were also a variety of yogurts (I had Chobani Greek vanilla), granola, walnuts, and craisins as additions. Even the coffee was great! It is usually too weak for me, and I don't drink it. I just wanted to give a shout-out and let everyone know how great our experience there was, and thank the kitchen staff and front desk personnel.
