    I booked this hotel with Booking.com on Nov 20th for a night on Dec 24th.The booking said "You can cancel for free until 1 day before arrival. If you cancel within 1 day of arrival, the cancellation fee will be the cost of the first night. If you don't show up, the no-show fee will be the same as the cancellation fee".I canceled the reservation on Nov 22nd, a month before I was going to stay and I got a mail immediately with the message :Your reservation at MainStay Suites Denver International Airport is now canceled. You don’t need to do anything else, but if you have questions for the property, feel free to contact them at +1 720-920-9681 . The property is responsible for payment and will handle any refunds (if applicable) automatically.Well, they charged me and refuse to give the money back. First time in my life something like this happens.

    Upon getting to our room we noticed the air conditioning in the room was inadequate and let the front desk know. They sent someone up who said he reset the air conditioner but in reality I think all he did was turn the thermostat down to 60. It never worked but just blew the fan the whole night. We were all sweating in our sleep with what little sleep we got. I suggested for us to move rooms but they did nothing and did nothing at checkout either. The maintenance man said that all the rooms were like that but when I mentioned that to the front desk they said that was not true. Anyway, pretty disappointing to pay so much for a poor night sleep

    The stay was functional. I like the layout of the rooms. The value was ok. The check-in process was rough. The check-out process was easy. There is breakfast. There is an airport shuttle even though it only runs once per hour from what I can tell. Overall, this was an ok stay.

    I booked 4 rooms with this hotel 2 months ago which I normally frequent when staying over night in Denver. They canceled these rooms to make room for other guests. They offered a far worse deal financially at a non- Choice hotel further away with no transport provided. Stay somewhere else…. At least you can count on the room being available when you check in.

    Over all not bad, some things needed to be updated. But over all comfortable. Same breakfast everyday we was there. Only issue is we had to leave a few days early, because of this being a work trip. He was called away. NEVER had we to pay an early departure until now. Not impressed, will NOT be coming back because of this.
