Avoid this hotel if you want to sleep

Worst hotel experience in years. Arrived at midnight for an overnight stay only. First, this hotel is LOUD - you can hear everything happening in the outside hallways and floors above. The AC unit in the room then was so loud it woke us up each time it turned on. The cherry on top was a housekeeper loudly knocking on the door, waking us from deep sleep at 8AM. She knocked so loudly and so many times we thought it was an emergency! Do better, Hampton Inn.

Clean and Comfortable Right Off the NJ Turnpike

We stayed at this hotel on our way home. The location was great for us. It was an easy on and off at Exit 8 of the NJ Turnpike. There were many restaurant choices for dinner and there were also many gas stations.The hotel itself was everything we wanted: clean and comfortable with friendly staff. My husband likes to go into the breakfast area early and enjoy coffee while reading. Later, we eat together. We both enjoyed the breakfast.For American Revolution history buffs, the Battlefield of the Battle of Monmouth is very close, but we chose to start our drive home.

Convenient location with great amenities

We stayed here two nights while visiting a friend who lives nearby at Mountain Lakes. The king size bedroom was well equipped with a refrigerator- hidden in the cabinet.We enjoyed the pool. The water temperature was not too hot, nor too cool.The highlight was the extensive breakfast- everything that you could possibly want- great value.

Hampton Inn pleasant surprise

I stayed at the Hampton Inn East Windsor for 2 nights in July 2025 and was impressed. I had a bad experience at another Hampton so I was pleasantly surprised with how good this one was.The room was clean. The mattress had a full cover then the mattress pad...both were super clean. The sheets were nice...not thin (I know! I'm picky!) The bathroom was bright and clean with a large shower (not tub).The cleaning staff started early! The room was refreshed while I was eating breakfast. I noticed a load of mattress pads with the cleaning crew so they obviously change them between guests (nice to know!).The lady manning the desk at night was a great asset! She went searching, and found, the tea I was looking for. I also observed her gently asking 2 young ladies to keep their voices lower while in the lounge one evening. There are signs all over the building regarding noise levels after 10 so it was nice that was being "enforced".A great experience which will make be use Hampton Inns in the future.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn East Windsor and would describe the experience as okay overall. The biggest positive was that the hotel was clean. The room was neat and tidy, and the bathroom was well-maintained. The common areas, including the lobby and hallways, were also in good condition. Cleanliness is a top priority for me when staying in any hotel, and this location met that standard.
