Easy Proximity to highways and restaurants with a updated and easy hotel experience
19 Oct 2025
Somerset hills was the perfect home base for a family visit. Conveniently located to major highways and a varied selection of restaurants and services. The hotel parking lot is small but in a good way. From parking to Check in and check out the transaction was pleasant and quick. Staff was smiling and welcoming all day and night. There’s a lovely Gastro pub and lounge bar with quality pours, drafts and snacks. The rooms are spacious, quiet and updated. We had a minor issue with the safe and the engineer was related within 7 minutes to repair and reset it. We’ve booked our next stay through TripAdvisor!

Isolated. No laundry service.

The reception staff is barebones. The place is in the middle of nowhere. The room is ok for the price. No toothpaste in the bathroom. And unbelievable: there is no laundry service. But you can conveniently walk 2km and bring it to a laundry. I haven’t tried the food and I am hesitant to. Fact is: no other alternative is available.

2 night stay for soccer

This is a nice hotel. Mostly, this hotel did a good job. Our thermostat wasn’t working. Wouldn’t even turn on. I kept calling the front desk to see if someone could take a look, but nobody would answer. Tried twice. So I went downstairs to talk to someone. The gentleman at the front desk seemed very flustered. I understand he was very busy, but he was no help. He basically told me there’s nothing he can do. He could electrical and get back to me. They were sold out. I just asked him if he could call the room and just let me know what’s going on. I don’t think he handled it very well. He just seemed like he was so stressed out and I was bothering him. Never heard back from him. The next morning I talked to Lavonne. Nice lady. She called electrical. She called me back immediately and said someone from housekeeping will come to look at it with someone from electrical on the phone to walk her through anything. Well it just needed new batteries. This was done very fast. I understand the gentleman was busy, but the fact he didn’t follow up with me is what made me upset. Thank you to Lavonne and the housekeeping lady for their help. The gentleman was lacking customer service. The restaurant was nice. Food was good. No free breakfast but they offer it at a price. Had to ask someone for coffee. It would be better to have coffee out like most hiltons. I had to wait and have someone serve it to me. Beds were comfortable. Walls were paper thin. Could hear everything on the hallways. Nice hotel.

That said, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the thermostat and for the initial lack of support you received from our front desk team. Your kind words will be shared with them.We value your comments regarding service consistency, coffee availability, and room noise, and will be using this feedback to improve the experience for all our guests. A beautiful hotel with fragrance-free bedding. Points off for the staff
24 Jan 2025
I went to this hotel as I needed to identify the hotels in this area that have fragrance-free sheets, as I am allergic to laundry fragrance. This should be a simple question. But when I called the hotel, the front desk order could not answer my question and said only housekeeping would know. Really? I told him don’t bother I’ll come over to check for myself. When I arrived he said I just missed housekeeping person. I told him I don’t need her, I can tell for myself if the sheets are fragrances or not. So he begins giving me unnecessary information - saying the sheets are sent out to a service for cleaning so they wouldn’t be able to tell us. I said “Really? Usually outside services ozonate sheets and use unfragranced unscented detergents”. He is frustrated so out walks the super woke manager. And she repeats all this unnecessary information “oh, they can’t give me an answer because they send their sheets out”. So I said let’s preview a room and I will personally tell you if the sheets are scented or unscented. She keeps trying to block this until my husband hands her a $20. At that point she agrees to take me up to a room, I walk in and it’s very beautiful and behold - no fragrance on the sheets. Deep sniff test. Now why was h the st so bloody hard ? If you are looking for a hotel that has fragrance free sheets, stay here. But the manager and staff need to be schooled in the art of customer service. The hotel underwent a $30 million renovation and the decor is lovely. The carpets smell a bit new and haven’t off gassed yet if that’s a concern, but they are not terrible. And the hotel does use fragrance sprays in the rooms, in the halls and in the lobby but it’s light and if fragrance is a concern, ask them not to spray the room and to run ozone machine for a few minutes before your visit to clear out any residual perfume.

Not much value for your money

PROS: hotel has a decent breakfast menu and you can get a good sleep after a long day of meetingsCONS: the room is extremely small and there are few complimentary stuff and the ones in the room were not working: coffee machine, A/C, bedside lamp. Also, the small convenience store had nothing but chips and coke, not ideal if you have been flying all day and arriving too late for restarant: the hotel staff offers the uber option as a solution only. Room not so clean, specially the carpet and has some smell when arriving. it is a bit too expensive given the room conditions.

Hello Carla,Thank you for taking the time to review our property. I am so sorry to hear that we fell short of your expectations on this trip. Please know that we only have 2 rooms in this property of that size. Uber/Lyft are the only options offered due to the lack of car services in the area. We are happy to hear that you were able to enjoy good sleep as well as breakfast. We hope that you will give us a second chance to get it right next time you are in the area.
