    Great customer service

    rating03 Jun 2026

Great location. Beautiful views. My room was In excellent condition and very clean. But the service at the pool bar was probably what made it all around 5 stars. Derrick the bartender was extremely Attentive and had excellent customer service. He made great drinks and as well gave a few great options for dinner. I got the crab cakes which were perfect. Overall the staff and the hotel is a great place to stay. Definitely will be back. Fantastic place to stay!

    rating28 May 2026

This is a beautiful property!!! It is right on the water and the sunset both nights was beautiful!! We enjoyed the pool and the food and drinks we had were fabulous! Our room was spacious and clean. There was no distracting noise from other guests although we were not facing the pool, but I didn't notice noise in the evenings either. We did see a couple of kiddos, but the parents kept them entertained so it wasn't distracting at all. The general manager was actually in the lobby greeting guests and gave us a couple of tips of things to do. They have reciprocity with the Hilton Faro Blanco - just not with paying. At the Hilton, you can't bill to your room, but that's not a big deal. We did eat dinner at the Hilton property and it was fantastic! Walking around between the properties was easy and there were multiple places from which to watch the sunset. We would definitely recommend it!! The GM did tell me that the way to get the best rate at a Bonvou property (Marriott, for example) is to use the app. I had no idea so thought I would share it here. Delwin Thoduparambil, Guest Services / Front Office at Courtyard by Marriott Faro Blanco Resort, responded to this review Thank you for such a detailed and thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed so many aspects of your stay, from the beautiful waterfront setting and unforgettable sunsets to the pool, dining, and peaceful atmosphere in your room. It’s also wonderful to know our team helped make your experience even more special, especially the personal welcome and local tips from our general manager. We’re glad you were able to explore both properties and take advantage of everything the area has to offer. We truly appreciate you sharing your experience and helpful tip about booking through the app as well. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you back again soon for another fantastic stay.
