A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hotel offers a wide range of outdoor sports, including tennis, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball and fishing. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking. With jet skiing, kayaking, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, table tennis and yoga. A spa and massage treatments are available in the wellness area. In the evenings, guests can unwind to live music.

    Room number 131 I have stayed in before and it was excellent nice walk out short walk to the beach nice patio private private patioand the room air-conditioning worked well and stayed very cold and overall – – my only complaint is the refrigerator is too small they need to some better refrigerator space with a small freezer compartment in the top for keeping ice etc.

    The Islander Resort was beautiful and clean. The staff were very polite and friendly. We loved our room, beds were comfortable, we especially loved the private patio and that we basically parked right outside our door. The steamer in the room was a great addition instead of an iron. Plenty of hooks to hang wet bathing suits to dry. The property was beautiful. Beach area and pools were very relaxing. We had drinks and lunch at Tides a couple of days and drinks from the tiki bar by the beach all were very good and the staff was wonderful. Staff even recommended some local restaurants for dinner. I would like to point out that when we checked in we were told to scan the bar code for daily activities. In doing so it showed a complementary sangria or spritzers from 4-5 pm. When I inquired at the bar the bar tender told me the resort no longer does this and handed me the happy hour menu. My thought was she should have honored the complementary drink until it is no longer on your daily happenings. Therefore I would not get too excited about there daily happenings.

    For the price of our room, I would have expected higher quality with more attention to details. We had towels on the floor and couch to catch the constant water leaking from the air conditioner, even after a service call the toilet continued to not flush, no one came to clean our room and provide fresh towels. When we complained the receptionist immediately tried to turn the situation around and blame us. No we did not have a do not disturb sign on our door. No it is not our responsibility to try and fix the toilet over and over. A destination wedding should be filled with wonderful memories, and I am very sorry that the issues with your room and our response added frustration to your stay.The recurring air conditioning leak, the unresolved toilet issue, and the lack of housekeeping service are all unacceptable misses on our part. Equally disappointing is hearing the response when bringing your concerns forward. That is never the experience we want any guest to have, especially when simply asking for assistance with legitimate issues.Your comments have been shared directly with our leadership team so we can address both the maintenance concerns and the way the interaction was handled.     A gorgeous tropical oceanfront resort

    My wife and I love the Islander Resort! We were married there in May of 2025 and had a wonderful time. We just celebrated our first anniversary there and again we had a fabulous time. We loved the room that they assigned us to and the proximity to everything. The resort grounds are full of meticulously maintained tropical plants and trees that give a nice Caribbean feel. All of the staff that we had contact with were all super friendly and helpful. We also are very grateful for the special treatment we received as returning newlyweds, thank you very much! The Islander Resort is our favorite resort!     Great experience…after a rocky start

    Gotta say, this place is really nice. They have extensively remodelled the resort, including a new restaurant and pool. The grounds are well kept. The resort staff are uniformly polite and helpful, with one glaring exception.The front desk clerks were rude, condescending, and somewhat snide on check-in. Our room was not ready, and they seemed to take delight in our discomfort while waiting in the sweltering heat. They made no effort to check with the housekeeping staff. They “guarantee” check-in at 4:00, and not a minute sooner. We were notified that our room was ready at 3:44.Other than that, once we were checked in, the resort was excellent.
