Secluded Tropical Oasis Resort
17 Aug 2026
This was my family's second stay at Parrot Key and we already have a third trip booked for the winter. Being very hot and humid for this stay, we enjoyed the four pools and plenty of shade on the property. The 2-bed, 2-floor partial water view suite overlooking the salt channel is our favorite room with great views from the balcony and plenty of space. We also like the location of the resort, which is a few miles from Duval Street away from the noise and crowds, but easy to get there with the shuttle or Uber. The secluded, tropical oasis atmosphere of the resort is a great value for the price. We have stayed at other hotels in Key West with similar or higher rates which don't compare with the Parrot Key. The service is friendly and efficient with lots of workers on the property and it is very clean and well maintained. Parrot Key Hotel Team, Guest Services / Front Office at Parrot Key Hotel & Villas, responded to this review Thank you for choosing Parrot Key for a second stay and for already planning a third visit with us! We are truly honored to be your family's go-to destination in Key West. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed our tropical setting, multiple pools, and shaded grounds, especially during the warmer summer weather. It's wonderful that the two-bedroom partial water view suite continues to be your favorite. The views overlooking the salt channel and the spacious layout certainly make it a special place to relax and unwind. We're also pleased that our location provides the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion while still offering convenient access to all the excitement of Duval Street. Your comments about the value we provide compared to other Key West resorts mean a great deal to us.Most importantly, thank you for recognizing our team's friendly service and our commitment to maintaining a clean, beautiful property. We will be sure to share your kind words with our staff, as they work hard every day to create memorable experiences for our guests. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back this winter for another exceptional stay in your tropical oasis. Safe travels until then!

Horrible staff
06 Jul 2026
Staff is very bad here. I was charged $30 in error from the mini bar. Hotel admits it was a mistake but will not refund. I’ve been calling for 6 weeks and no refund happens and no one will call me back. Be sure to review your room charges very carefully before checkout if you decide to stay here. Once you leave and they have your money, they don’t care. Parrot Key Hotel Team, Guest Services / Front Office at Parrot Key Hotel & Villas, responded to this review Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you've experienced regarding the minibar charge and the delay in resolving the refund. We understand how disappointing it is to be told an error occurred and then have difficulty receiving a timely resolution. This is not the level of service we strive to provide, and we regret that your attempts to reach us over the past several weeks have not resulted in the communication and follow-up you deserve. Please know that we take your concerns seriously and would like the opportunity to investigate this matter further and ensure it is addressed properly. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we need to improve. Again, we apologize for your experience and hope to have the opportunity to restore your confidence in our hotel.
