Good location
29 May 2026
Overall: 09 / 10Cleanliness: 10 / 10Sleep Quality: 10 / 10 (My room was located in the SPA building, where it was very quiet)Bathroom: 10 / 10 (The bathroom was very spacious)Wi-Fi: 10 / 10 (Top speed, video streaming worked without any problems)Location: 10 / 10 (Perfect location near the pier, with many restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity. However, driving there can be a bit tedious due to the many tourists on the streets)Service: 10 / 10 (Extremely friendly staff)Dining: There are several restaurants in the hotel. Breakfast was very good.Shopping Tip: Just a few meters away is a large supermarket for daily needs.Parking Info: There are plenty of parking spaces on the property where even larger vehicles can be parked without any problems.Top Feature: My room had a huge balcony where I could enjoy the warm evenings.Flop Feature: Some furnishings in the restaurant were slightly rusted, likely due to the salty sea air. A little more maintenance would do some good here. Conclusion: Good accommodation in Key West. You are right in the middle of everything, yet you still have your peace and quiet. 40th birthday trip fun! Perfect location!!
20 May 2026
We went back and forth deciding on staying close to Duval Street or on the other end in some of the newer resorts. We opted for Pier House because it had everything we needed and the location was perfect. SO THANKFUL we did this!! We drove to the other resorts we looked at and they were so far from everything, had zero beach area or the beach was covered in seaweed. This is definitely the spot! Yes the beach area is smaller but there are plenty of chairs, we never had to wait to find one or come early to secure it. The bar area with music is right by the beach and pool so that sets the vibe! Fast service with drinks, we are at the restaurant on sight a few times and it was good (a little spendy but everything in Key West is we’ve found). There’s a CVS right across the street to get water or snacks to cut some of the costs. The rooms are very nice. We actually loved the beds and the AC and slept better than we do at home! We rented a golf cart one day and drove around the island and while pretty; this really is the best spot. We stayed in one of the basic rooms and while there’s no view on the patio (palm trees) the room itself was very nice! If we came back, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Yvonne Jan, Guest Services / Front Office at Pier House Resort & Spa, responded to this review Thank you for choosing us and giving us a perfect 5/5 rating. We're delighted that your stay exceeded your expectations. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we're thrilled to have contributed to your memorable experience. We look forward to welcoming you back for another exceptional stay.

A hidden treasure
16 May 2026
Over the last 10 years, we have stayed at the Pier House several times . The location is perfectly located near all of the fun of Duval but off the road enough for it to be a quiet, tropical oasis. The private beach with chairs, umbrellas and towel service is fantastic! Oceanside food and drink service is amazing with great staff . The rooms are very comfortable (our favorite are the Lunai with a private outside seating area ). All of the staff, services and room are top tier . We comeback as often as we can! Best of the Best!
10 May 2026
If you're looking for the best of the best in Key West, Pier House is it. The staff, the location, the views and the food are all top tier. The property is close to everything and yet feels secluded from the craziness of Duval, quiet as can be. You can feel the stress melt away as you walk through the impeccable grounds to the full service private beach and pool. The staff are extremely attentive, checking in the exact right amount to see if you need a new drink or some food. We enjoyed the coconut shrimp and the smoothest pina colada I've ever had. The rooms are well appointed, spotless and well airconditioned. There's nothing like waking up to an unobstructed view of paradise. The water pressure in the shower is the best I've ever had in a hotel, perfect to rinse of the day. We will be back! Yvonne Jan, Guest Services / Front Office at Pier House Resort & Spa, responded to this review Thank you so much for your exceptional rating. We are glad we could win your trust and provide you with the best. We hope to enhance this experience even further in the future. We are indeed looking forward to your next visit!

Great location - needs updating
29 Apr 2026
The good - great location, decent little beach, rooms are good- sized. Breakfast is great. The gym was nice. The needs improvement- the beds and linens- beds are uncomfortable and the sheets and towels feel old and cheap. Everything looks run down, scuffed paint and doors. The sargassum was bad and for 2 days the hotel just let it pile up on the beach. It was really gross. Once we complained, it was taken care of but they should stay on top of it. The pool is just ok.Overall it was a great stay but for the premium prices they charge, this hotel should do better. Yvonne Jan, Guest Services / Front Office at Pier House Resort & Spa, responded to this review Thank you Joyce for your feedback and review. We have been experiencing a lot of seagrass lately. Our beach attendants are doing their best to remove it as soon as it gets on our beach. Please feel free to contact me if you want to discuss this further.
