    This place exceeded very expectation and was spectacular. The suites are well appointed with kitchen amenities, beautiful rooms, Viking appliances, wine fridge, lovely bathrooms, great towels and very clean. Housekeeping service is daily. Happy hour, muffins and ice cream Dove bars daily. Staff is delightful and responsive. It was a perfect set up for two couples with a living space that we could relax in and share. The property is lush and grounds well maintained. It’s a block off of Duvall which makes it conveniently located with so much within a short walking distance. Including Louie’s around the corner! I found it via the internet and was skeptical because you’re never quite sure what you will get. Cannot recommend enough and am excited to go back again.     A true gem! Would return!!!

    We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Santa Maria Suites! We would stay here again again. From the moment we arrived, Azul was so wonderful welcoming us. She had such positive energy, was so helpful, and right off the bat gave us amazing recommendations of things to do and places to eat (A + B Lobster house was amazing).Our stay was with another couple and we stayed in room 14 -- which had two bedrooms and a huge kitchen and living area - and many balconies! The room was beautiful and so clean -- and the beds were VERY comfortable. Bathrooms/showers were great. Also they stock the room with muffins, ice cream and a ton of water bottles (essential in Key West)!The pool area was just what we needed -- the other couples there seemed very chill and we had a lovely afternoon. PLUS happy hour with complimentary wine (many varieties) was incredible!This is also a great location -- walkable to everything ! We did the Hemingway house, the Truman White House and the trolley tour. Loved it all.For coffee/iced coffee Frenchies was great (another Azul recommendation) and just a block away.We would go back to Key West just to stay at the Santa Maria Suites!     Excellent hotel, services & location. We would definitely stay here again & have recommended it to friends & family. We were not familiar with Key West & glad we booked here instead near Upper Duval which was too touristy, crowded & too many tshirt, chotsky shops.     Lovely property but not as peaceful as it once was

    We have stayed at Santa Maria Suites four times now and it is a beautiful property with lovely, clean rooms and set in gorgeous tropical gardens. On previous visits the pool and deck have been lovely and relaxing, a real oasis of calm in an otherwise busy city. However, on this occasion we couldn't even get a seat by the pool as it was so busy and noisy with lots of young families. This was really unexpected and it may just have been the time of year (first week of April) but it was a bit disappointing and meant our stay was not as enjoyable as previous years.
