    I really wanted to like this resort, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The room was crawling with bugs, which made it difficult to relax or sleep comfortably. To make matters worse, the air conditioning barely worked, leaving the room hot and humid throughout our stay.The biggest issue is that the property seems completely unprepared for rain. Even a small shower caused flooding in multiple areas, making it difficult to get around and creating a messy, unpleasant environment. For the price we paid, I expected much better maintenance and basic accommodations. The location is nice, but the bugs, lack of A/C, and flooding problems completely overshadowed any positives. I wouldn’t stay here again.

    Comfortable and very spacious suite. Friendly and helpful staff. Good live entertainment and a neighborhood feeling bar poolside. Great staff! We would return and recommend!

    Stayed at Skip Jack marina on our family boat. Decided to try margaritas at the bar by the pool , OMG Jason, the bar tender was not only super friendly but he made the best margaritas ever.Hope he’s working later lol come try one they are to die for!!!

    This was not our first stay at the SkipJack. On this trip our room was clean and sufficient. Our only complaint was the pullout couch, which was very uncomfortable and old. The breakfast was mediocre. The scrambled eggs were runny so we had to ask to have them remade and the hard boiled eggs were soft and runny. Food needs upgrade. The view from our room was nice.

    Let’s begin with what is advertised on the website is not what you actually get. Daily room service for simple things like towels; not here. Do you want ice? You will have to make sure you get to the lobby before they lock up because the only ice machine is at the front desk and the employee has to get your ice. This place feels more like a motel with a bar than it does a resort. It’s a little strange having some of the employees live there as well. Customer service is something you won’t find here. We were reminded “we’re not at home” because we dared to ask for a real blanket and some extra pillows for our son. There was no greeting when checking in. Instead the employee mumbled something at me and stared. The room was “remodeled”. It was very dirty with crumbs and stains on the fold up mattress, stains on the walls in the bathroom, improper seals on shower so it floods out when you take a shower, and mold in the barely working ac units. Whatever you paid for your stay; it cost too much. On the plus side it is close to a Publix. You will need that for breakfast because whenever they run out of something at the continental breakfast it doesn’t get restocked. They have a pool with a bar. At 4 everyday they let non-guests come in and drink at the bar. Not very safe for a family environment.
