This resort is located in the heart of Key West.

Facility

The resort has a lift and features 96 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, room service, an alarm call service and a laundry service. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. A balcony or terrace is among the standard features in the rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. Further amenities include an ironing set and a trouser press. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and bathrobes are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The resort has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pleasantly heated water of the indoor and outdoor pools guarantees comfortable swimming. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of refreshing drinks await guests at the pool bar. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and fishing are available. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy kayaking, snorkelling and diving. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym, yoga and aerobics. A wellness area with a steam bath is available at the resort. In the evenings, guests can unwind to live music.

    How to make a Key West visit even better? The Marker!

    We have stayed here 8 times. Location is fantastic. Hotel is beautiful. Staff is tops! This year the front desk staff captured from a casual conversation that it was my husband’s birthday. A bottle of chilled Champagne showed up with the staff’s well wishes. That, my friends, is how you keep people coming back. The Marker really knows how it is done. Thank you for making an already special visit even more special. #LoveTheMarker

    Accommodations galore at The Marker Key West

    The staff at The Marker Key West Resort were very friendly and extremely accommodating. We had airline issues and ended up having to drive from Ft. Lauderdale. They let us park the rental car at no charge and even upgraded our room at no charge for our wedding. The pools/bar are amazing and you really can't beat the location. The wristband room keys are a great idea!

    My husband and I had an absolute blast staying at The Marker!! Can’t wait to go back! The pool is such a vibe with the live music, entertainment from Kasey and super convenient with the bar being right there! Highly recommend especially for the short walk to Duval St!

    Let me begin with the resort is very nice. Has nice amenities and is clean. The bartenders were nice. Great location. Now on to the rest. Let me start with the staff. There is an Asian lady - and I am not a racist - but her English is horrible. I brought several things to her attention when we were checking out and she just said "well that's what our computer says and it really doesn't matter" All of my information was wrong - Not even the same person as what was on the bill. The pools were filthy - the top of the water was scummy. The pool is open to the public. They didn't keep the towels by the pools stocked. The carpeting in the hallways really needs attention. Housekeeping is hit or miss. We had to leave notes to get coffee and clean glasses. They never emptied the ice buckets. The towels have seen better days - several of the ones we got had holes in them. $300/night for towels with holes? There is zero privacy on the balconies - no divider between them. They tax you on the room and then they tax you on the resort fee. We were there celebrating our 50th anniversary, they knew about this as I had told management when we booked the hotel and you would have thought a small bottle of champagne was in order - nope - no acknowledgement. So the staff is a direct reflection of the management. You get 2 cans of water day one - after that it's $4/each. But there is a water dispenser on the ice machine so we made do. I can go on and on but do yourself a favor and don't believe the advertising or the reservations team. They reservations team works for The Marker and they told me when I made the reservation that the rate I booked included breakfast . It did not. We go to KW most years and will not return to The Marker. We will go back to the Orchid Key Inn. Smaller rooms but so much better. Trust this review.     Loved the atmosphere. Great customer service. You can’t get any closer to the marina. Restaurants close by. Room was amazing. Everything was clean and well taken care of. This was our fourth trip to Key West first time staying at Market. We will be back!
