  Way overpriced for what you pay for

  My work colleague and I stayed here for two nights. We paid around 280 per night and it was not worth it. We didn’t eat breakfast because it just didn’t look good. Coffee machine was broken. All three ice machines were not working. The water pressure in the bathroom faucet was trickling so that was not pleasant. Overall , not a good experience for us. Oh and please get rid of that lobby scent. It’s absolutely horrendous.

  Check in was smooth until we got to our door and saw another family walking into the room. I went back to the desk and they told me to go tell that family to return to the desk and that it was my room. Very unprofessional. Once in the room, there was a hideous odor and the light in the bedroom was not plugged in. I went to plug it in and it was obvious that the area behind the nightside had not been cleaned in awhile. The light shade on the wall had tears as well. Pictures on the walls were also halfway pulled off. Next up was noticing the stained furniture in the "living room". Very nasty! The outside of the microwave was not wiped down and there was soda spills on the floor and walls around the area. The light on the wall had no shade so the lightbulb was exposed. As I went to call the front desk from the room, the phone had been unplugged. I went and asked for a different room and was met with aggravation with the explanation that this was the room I was assigned and had to stay in it. I asked if I could cancel and was told they would still have to charge me for the room. I then happen to still be in the lobby when the front desk radioed to someone to go to my room to get me. I stepped up to ask what I was needed for and they asked me if I had two rooms. I was confused but they kept saying the system was showing I had booked two. That seemed to get straightened out but was told they would have to charge my card again because they had to get the system to show I was in the room I was assigned. I had not choice, I had to stay because they would not allow me to cancel. Now the bathroom. I wanted to check on the tub because my son needed to soak in hot water to aide his twisted knee and discovered the plunger for the faucet was stuck so a bath could not be drawn. Needless to say there was mold everwhere anyway so a bath was not going to happen. I addressed many of these, especially the tub and cleanliness with staff. Maintenance came by but could not repair the faucet that night. Housekeeping came and cleaned behind the night stand, wiped down the microwave and sprayed air freshener. Now into the morning. Woke up to discover a large puddle around the toilet, the tank was leaking. After having a shower, the tub backed up and discovered that the shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. As we left for our event I reported this to the front desk. Upon return to the hotel, nothing had been accomplished all day. I decided to look around further and discovered the filters for the ac units had not been cleaned in probably months. Also of note was that the door handle cover for the bathroom kept popping off after being reseated. I returned to the front desk and then maintenance was dispatched. They came and fixed the toilet and faucet. Housekeeping delivered shampoo and conditioner meant to be mounted. He just handed them to be and I asked if they were going to install and he said he didn't know how to do that. Oh, breakfast was chaos. A homeless person walked in the first morning and although staff told her she couldn't be there, she went into the breakfast area and grabbed eggs and sausages and then walked out after slamming the lids to the trays. The group with the younger kids were completely unsupervised pouring milk and throwing trash all over the area. This happen every morning. On the second night, I went to use the gym to discover 5 young kids on the equipment. 2 were on the treadmill. I notified a staff member who said that it was not his problem and that I had to notify the front desk. The next day we returned late, nearly 11 pm. There were several unsupervised kids still roaming the halls and essentially littering the lobby with trash and being loud. There was also a party going on the pool deck when there are signs that the pool area is from "dusk to dawn". All staff members and all shifts seemed to have no authority over the behavior of the guests. This hotel was definitely not worth over $600 paid for the stay. We were all robbed!

  No Hot Tub

  Some of the information shows that this property has a hot tub. That is no longer the case and should be updated. I booked this hotel because of that feature. If I had known it did not have a hot tub, I would have booked elsewhere. I only stayed here one night and would not have wanted to stay more than that length. Others that say the hotel wasn't great have opinions that I agree with. The area around the hotel seemed ok, but some of the clientele there seemed a bit sketchy. I am guessing that this could be becasue the hotel had a low price.

  Ok so I can't review the entire experience as I have just arrived... Well not just, I've been in in the lobby for over an hour, due to a blunder made by a third party booking agent... However, thanks to the patience, tenacity and professionalism of the hotel's General manager, Andrea...I will give this hotel a massive 👍🏾. To find a manager who insisted on fixing our problem which she did NOT create, whilst attending to the steady flow of check-ins, is a gem 👌🏾

  A great place to stay,rooms are large with everything you need on a vaca or business trip.complementary breakfast as fantastic.Supermarket and resturants around. The manageress was very helpful.Would stay again .
