Facility

358 rooms are located on 12 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Rooms

Air conditioning, individually adjustable heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is included as standard in some rooms.     Had a very enjoyable time. It can get very busy at breakfast and the afternoon reception but we really enjoyed the midweek as there were far less people at the hotel ( the hotel caters to folks going on cruises) Pros:The staff was lovelyThe room was clean and comfortable The pool & hot tub were well maintained The pool/restaurant area is beautiful with giant coy ponds Restaurant food was ok for hotel fareCons:Ask for a room facing the pool, the parking lot faced garbage bins and an unattractive area that was a little stinky, preventing us from using the lovely terrace Business center was out of service on every levelSpecial shoutout to the desk clerk intern Niels Vantilburg who went out of his way to help us scan and print some important business documents! Great customer service. He was a delight to work with and goes out of his way to make for a GREAT hospitality experience!!!     I travel to this hotel 4-5 months a year. I want to recognize Amy in the restaurant. Every time I go in she acknowledges me and is so professional. There are many options to go after dinner but we like coming back to the embassy because we like the atmosphere and Amy makes us feel at home. She is the best.     Lovely, clean hotel with great staff. Shout out especially to Jose at the front desk who went out of his way to return my Kindle to me after I accidentally left it tangled up in the bedclothes of our room (my fault). Jose was patient and gracious and returned my call telling me exactly how to go about getting my Kindle returned to me. Many, many thanks to you, Jose!!     We must have been put in the loudest room in the hotel - on the second floor above a conference room blasting music and next to the road traffic on 17th street. Would definitely not recommend. If you must go, always get a high floor away from the conference rooms and not facing 17th street. The happy hour at Embassy Suites used to be something to look forward to, but no longer unfortunately. The best thing is that there are some restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance.
