Roaches in elevator!!
11 Apr 2026
We found roaches in the elevator (photos below). We let the employee know but there was no sense of urgency to remedy the issue. Not sure how they would have, we would prefer not to lay down with roaches. We had to check out. Hotel was dirty and smelled like mildew. Very bad upkeep. Vaishakh Nair, Guest Services / Front Office at Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale-Cypress Creek, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered during your stay, particularly regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of the elevator. We take such matters very seriously, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve our services. I understand how distressing it must have been to find roaches and to feel that there was a lack of urgency in addressing your concerns. Please know that we are committed to providing a clean and comfortable environment for our guests, and I will be sure to communicate your feedback to our management team for immediate attention. Not up to Hampton Inn standard.
01 Apr 2026
It is not like other Hampton Inns. The rooms are small. That includes the bathroom! As others have said, it is in need of some more renovation. The elevators are curiously placed at the back of the hotel, are old and shudder. If they're working. All the hallways are narrow. The A/C unit is noisy. And beware the self-parking fee.But the check in staff are welcoming, there's the usual Hampton Inn spread at breakfast, and the pool looked good, although I didn't use it. Overall, I'd find somewhere else to stay. Vaishakh Nair, Guest Services / Front Office at Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale-Cypress Creek, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent stay with us. We appreciate your honesty and are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet the standards you expected from Hampton Inn. We understand that the size of the rooms and bathrooms, as well as the condition of the elevators and hallways, can impact your overall comfort. Your comments about the A/C unit and the self-parking fee have been noted, and we will certainly take them into consideration as we continue to enhance our facilities. On a positive note, we’re glad to hear that our check-in staff made you feel welcome and that you enjoyed our breakfast offerings. We hope you'll reconsider and give us another chance in the future.Warm Regards, Guest Relations Manager Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale-Cypress Creek

Great customer service...
25 Jan 2026
Stayed here last weekend. Good location. Set-up was a little odd with the elevators way in the back. Breakfast was super busy bur replenished quickly. The customer service at the hotel was next to none. Every team member whether it was Front Desk, Housekeeping, or Maintenance greeted you as you walked in and in the hallways.
