    Convenient and comfortable stay before our cruise

    This was a convenient and comfortable hotel for our family to stay at before our cruise out of Port Everglades. The hotel has a free airport shuttle. Just call when you arrive and they will send a shuttle to pick you up and take you to the hotel. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is conveniently located in the Dania Point shopping center, and it is an easy walk to multiple restaurants and to the Sprouts grocery store. Breakfast is offered in the morning for a charge, but you get a credit towards food if you are a Hilton member with certain levels of status. Be sure to check your hotel folio. Our food credit wasn’t initially applied and we had to call to get it applied for a refund after our stay. There is a cruise port shuttle that leaves at two times from the hotel. They charge $20 per person cash. This is a convenient, but time consuming option. The shuttle stops to pick up additional passengers at the Springhill Suites across the street and then will stop at every cruise ship at the port to drop off passengers. Unfortunately our cruise ship with Disney Cruise Line was the last stop. We weren’t worried about being late, but we were on the shuttle for 1 hour before we were dropped off.     The location for this hotel is great, their flatbreads are delicious but this is where my positive feedback ends. Our room was dirty, there were poorly fitted and worn sheets along with a broken cabinet and lost tv service in our room. This location needs some immediate attention.     Long time to wait to get our room. Front desk staff not very helpful.

    Our room was not ready upon check-in. It was 3:40 and rooms are supposed to be available at 4PM. I'm not sure if it's because I checked in online and chose a room or not. I think I'd let Hilton choose my room in the future. They kept saying that we'd have to wait 20 minutes. Well, they said that at least 3 times. We did not get into our room until after 5PM. They comped us one free breakfast. Big deal. It didn't seem to bother them too much. The hotel was supposedly updated but the elevator needs work!     Absolutely DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION

    BE aware of making a reservation here. I booked our room in July of 2025. Our reservation was for 12/26/25. A week before we were to travel the Hilton Garden Inn emailed me that they could not accommodate our stay we had reserved. They moved our reservation to a different hotel. I had specifically booked at this location for the amenities we needed due to my spouses limited mobility. I tried calling both hotels to try and make sure the new hotel had what we needed. Neither hotel would answer a phone call, text or email. I had no conformation number from the new reservation. We left on our trip wondering if we even had a reservation. When we arrived at Ft. Lauderdale, my first stop was the Hilton Garden Inn. I went to the desk and just asked if they had a room for the evening, I was not surprised when they said yes, however the price quoted was $130 more than I had reserved for. So I just left and I did check into the hotel they had transferred me to. It was a fine stay, however NO points and was not where we had booked.
