    The location is perfect. It’s just steps away from (not directly on) the beach. It’s convenient to area attractions and the local nightlife. The atmosphere is great especially if you’re primarily spending your stay on the beach. You have the boardwalk with all sorts of restaurants and souvenir shops, live entertainment, and a couple of spots offering nightlife entertainment. There isn’t much walking distance outside of the boardwalk but lots of things convenient by car or Uber/Lyft.The rooms are decent. We had the apartment style room with a sitting area/sofa bed, cooktop and refrigerator, table and bench and separate bedroom. It accommodated our needs for our stay and the price was reasonable compared to other hotels close to the beach. The breakfast was meh. Just a bunch of breads and boiled eggs. The upkeep and process could use some improvement. The area itself is clean l. Hotel amenities specifically the pool area could use some attention. The pool did not appear to have chlorine and the lounge chairs were dirty with one area reeking of urine. My room was not cleaned during my stay although they stated it is done on day three. I also spent 20 minutes attempting to replace towels after a “count discrepancy” (yes you have to walk your towels over and they count them before replacing them) mind you we had to request an extra because it was 4 of us and they started us with just 3. This was not only an inconvenience but also an unsavory experience for someone trying to enjoy their vacation. It’s Spring Break so of course you get occasional music and chatter from other guest hanging on the patio area however it was overall quiet and peaceful after hours. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will consider Hollywood Beach Hotels again pending changes in process and improvements in the pool area.

    Great location, only a few minutes walk from the beach. We had a great time staying at Sea Angel. The only issue was noise from the unit right above us. Someone was walking with heavy steps in the room around 2am for a few hours that woke me up.
