Location

The resort is situated beside the famous Galt Ocean Mile, directly next to an idyllic Atlantic beach. Port Everglades is an around 15-minute drive away.

Facility

The hotel has 225 rooms, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee. Rooms

    Location IS Perfect walking distance from the action on Lauderdale by the sea, with in restaurants section, jam back with good food and activities. Room are freshly re-decorated nice amenities, but the sound proofing is less then desire, you are the conversation of people around you...from the balconies, from the corridor or the room next to you. Reasonably price. Very clean.

    The lodging was very nice. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The room chairs were rather hard and not as comfortable to use, but they did provide adequate support. The view from our room (825) of the ocean was amazing! We parked across the street, and it worked well for our local commutes. There was a family gathering at the resort was hosted by the Ocean Sky staff, and the food and service was outstanding. A first class event!

    My husband Birthday Celebration at the Ocean Sky Resort by Galt Mile in Fort Lauderdale Around the second week of December 2025 I started looking into finding a venue to celebrate my husband ‘s birthday on January 10th 2026. We were so blessed to find hostess Silvana at the Ocean Sky Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The hotel is beautiful with a spectacular view of the ocean. Silvana was an angel sent by God to help me planning this event with only two weeks away from my husband birthday. Silvana gave me a tour of the hotel and I fell in love with the place and the staff.As we all experience some time, there was a budget limitation but Silvana contacted the best catering company called VIP Event Party Company under Mercedes management. Silvana and Mercedes presented me with a variety of food and decoration for a fantastic price. The decorations, the food the food presentation, and the amazing hors d'oeuvres were delicious . Everybody at the party was giving compliments of the food and the beautiful decorations. The team was able to accommodate some of my relatives with special dishes for those that are vegan, gluten free, eggs and peanut allergies which was great for them to do. Olga’s Cake Sweet Bakery was delicious and moist plus a second cake that was vegan. My husband loves Jazz and Silvana found a wonderful Jazz entertainer. J.R. Apollon the band leader for the “Jazz All Stars”. Mr. Apollon’s performance was wonderful with a fantastic young singer. They performed finally singing happy birthday to my husband which was amazing. Then we had, DJ Julio did a great job keeping us on the dance floor with music for all ages. Several of the relatives stayed in the hotel and they loved the hotel and their accommodations. Silvana and the staff of Ocean Sky Resort and the vendors made my husband’s birthday a wonderful and memorable birthday celebration . This hotel I will recommend for all type of events specially weddings because of the magnificent view and accommodations. Silvana thank you for making this event very special for the entire family specially my husband. Muchas gracias !!

    Fantastic experience at Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort for a dear friend’s 90th birthday

    We recently attended our dear friend’s 90 birthday celebration at the Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort. The venue was located at a beach-front hotel. The event was held in the ballroom, which was nicely decorated and dinner tables were nicely setup along with open bar, buffet station, and dance floor. Our host arranged with the hotel’s event planner, Silvanna, to have a DJ, food, and special music performance. The DJ played music as the evening went along. The food was delicious; included beef, chicken, roasted potation, rice, mixed vegetables, salad, plantains, and bread. The serving staff was very attentive, making sure all the guests were taken care of. The open bar had a nice selection. We were also entertained by a jazz musician with his saxophone play along with his star student singing several songs. Towards the end of the event, many guests got up to dance to the DJ’s selection of dance music. All the guests had a great time. We recommend this venue for its outstanding service, beach-front location and top-notch staff.

    We celebrated a very special birthday and it was perfection!Silvana is an amazing party organizer. The venue was beautifully decorated, the food was delicious and the servers were so gracious. The performers, Jazz player and singer were top-notch. And lastly the DJ had us all dancing.It was beautiful!!!
