This family-friendly hotel is located directly beside the beach in picturesque Fort Lauderdale. Within walking distance of the hotel are an array of shopping venues and restaurants. Miami International Airport can be reached in 1 hour by car.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 178 rooms located in a 5-storey main building and 3 auxiliary buildings. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, individually adjustable heating and a fan. Most units have a sea view. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can strike that perfect balance between exercise and relaxation in one of the 2 freshwater pools, which are outdoors and in part heated. There is a special swimming area for little ones as well. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking, beach volleyball and volleyball are available. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy snorkelling and diving. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics. The wellness offerings at the hotel include a spa and a steam bath. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. A fortifying breakfast is served daily.

    Our sixth time visiting and as always had a wonderful visit. Always recommend to our family and friends. Of note, Eugene was absolutely fantastic. He is extremely warm and welcoming. Additionally, staff paid great attention to detail and made sure we had all the necessities to have a relaxed vacation. Sadly, I have to wait another year to come back to my home away from home.     Plunge was such a good find!! Quaint, comfortable but had every aminity we could think of. The hotel staff was friendly and Jasmine was welcoming and attentive when we came in late at night and was helpful with anything we needed. We were down for a quick work trip and will most certainly return to Plunge for our next stay. So many great things are within walking distance.
