    GREAT LOCATION AND STAFF!!

    We stayed here with 5 couples for a Florida adventure. This place was PERFECT!! we had a grill and fire pit for nighttime eating, cocktails and storytelling. The breakfast was good for an early morning energy supply. The location was perfect for the Beach, water taxi, a ferry to Bimini, alligator/hog hunting for the guys, a trip to the Keys , Flamingo Gardens, deep sea fishing and canal fishing for peacock bass, pickle ball courts and mini golf. There was also Billie Swamp Safari, but we ran out of time. The staff was super helpful!! The hot water was slow to get started and unfortunately the hot tub was out of order, but it was probably due to the record cold that was there the week before we got there. Anyways, we will be back! Thanks again staff!!

    Poor management and poor guest services

    We had intended to stay at the Weston Florida Residence Inn on Friday, January 23, 2026. We had called ahead requesting an earlier check-in time because we were coming back from a cruise and getting off the ship in the morning. There was no response to our request. When we showed up around noon, we were told three times that check-in was 3pm. We were given the option to sit by the pool until then, which we did. When we went to the desk to ask about our reservation at 2:50pm, we were again told that check-in was 3pm and it would probably be at least another half hour. We chose to cancel our reservation and go elsewhere and stay in a hotel that was NOT Marriott. There were other guests with staff issues, and others waiting to check-in. As loyalty members, this was unacceptable, and definitely not up to the Marriott standards that we have experienced in the past.     Lost four moths of loyalty points due to hotel error and It was my fault not theirs, I should have checked

    In May of 2023 I stayed at the Marriott for four months due to my daughter’s pending life saving liver transplant, I never checked to see if I was awarded my loyalty points from hotel although I gave them my loyalty number as I assumed it was just credited automatically, after four months we took her home. Two years later she now needs to go back in hospital, I booked a room again and when I went to apply my points there were none, I then called customer service for Marriott Bonvoy, spoke to a customer service rep who said there was nothing he could do, I asked for a supervisor who rudely told me I should have checked before I left to make sure I got points and that it’s my fault not theirs and there's nothing he can can do, taking my daughter home home was the only thing on my mind at that time and not my points, he said there’s no way he could go back that far, I told him my credit card company would provide proof that I stayed there the amount of time I did, he said no again and that it’s my own fault, at the time of stay I was moved to three different rooms due to leaks, mold, and flooding, I’m sure during the moves my loyalty points were lost in the system. Where’s the empathy and understanding, I asked to maybe split the point difference so I didn’t lose out totally and again I got a firm no. This wasn’t my fault, I haven’t traveled since and now she’s going in to hospital again and those four months would have given me a room for this upcoming surgery. I now have reservations at another Marriott with no loyalty points on record. Just wanted to voice my displeasure on Marriott and its customer service and attitude.     Excellent customer service recieved by Zachary C. and Cassandra at the front desk. Zachary made excellent restaurant delivery recommendations that my family and I found "super delicious". My room was beautiful and had everything I needed. The hotel is "Pet Friendly"; which I loved. I would definitely return to Residence Inn and would highly recommend it to my family and friends.

    Stayed 1 night each pre/post cruise. Hotel quality/cleanliness average. Service below average. Both stays, room not available by stated 3 pm check-in time. Told multiple times “only 10 more minutes”. Since it happened twice in same week, asked if they could add some extra Bonvoy points for the inconvenience. Was told “yes”, the manager agreed to that. However, no points were ever added. Will definitely book elsewhere next time if we cruise out or Port Everglades.
