Location

This hotel affords a wonderful central location on Ocean Boulevard. Countless restaurants, shops, bars and entertainment venues are to be found in the near vicinity.

Facility

433 non-smoking rooms are available to guests in a 14-storey main building and a 15-storey auxiliary building. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the resort include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments and a solarium. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Dining facilities include a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. There are meals available for those with special dietary requirements: diet meals and children's meals. The resort also offers special catering options. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    I rarely write reviews, but what happened last night deserves to be recognized.My elderly father became confused and disoriented, and our family was desperately trying to locate him and get him home safely. In the middle of what felt like absolute panic, German — one of the valet staff at the Westin — noticed immediately that something was not right.What impressed us most was not just his professionalism, but his humanity. Many people would have simply done the minimum required of their job, but German paid attention, spoke kindly with my father, stayed calm, and helped our family piece together where he was and how to safely get him home. His awareness, judgment, and compassion made an incredibly frightening situation manageable.Anyone who has cared for an aging parent or loved one with dementia understands the fear and helplessness that comes with not knowing whether they are safe. German went far beyond the scope of his role. He demonstrated remarkable leadership, executive-level composure under pressure, and genuine care for another human being.The Westin should be incredibly proud to have someone like German representing their brand. Excellence in hospitality is not just about service — it’s about people who care enough to act when it matters most. German is exactly that kind of person.Our family will never forget his kindness.     Fernando and the valet team at the Westin Fort Lauderdale did an outstanding job during a very large event. Despite the high volume of guests and vehicles, everything moved smoothly and efficiently from start to finish. Fernando was professional, polite, and incredibly organized under pressure.     The service I received was excellent. Valerie, Sussan, and Juan at the bar—and Cristina at Starbucks—were very attentive and ensured that I was well taken care of. It was a wonderful experience; this is definitely my go-to place to stay in FLL.

    I’d like to praise the services of Anthony Sapp at the coffee bar. Every morning he was there before 06:00 setting up. He remembered my order as I went everyday. He made sure gluten free muffins were available the next day. My friend is celiac. He is friendly, kind, approachable and a great asset to the Westin. He greeted everyone with a smile and his friendliness was appreciated.
