  Overall room was clean, I felt the door has about 1in gap in the bottom and caused a lot of sound from the hallway coming into room. Also my next room couple had huge argument middle of night but that's not hotel issue. General Manager, General Manager at Tru By Hilton Ft.   Booked a King room and immediately at check in at 3:45 ( check in @4) we were asked to take a double room. I paid for a king but they said the doubles were ready. Like we didn’t have a choice. Hotel was ok, breakfast didn’t have many choices. Stayed one night before cruise. The Restaurant across the street was great!!! General Manager, General Manager at Tru By Hilton Ft.   the body wash, shampoo and kleenex needed to be refilled. there was none. why didn't the housekeeper refill these? the hand soap dispenser kept leaking. the beds were very hard. towels very small. and they only gave us 3 towels for 4 guests. we had requested the complimentary shuttle and were rudely told to call back once we got our bags. when we called again, they said it would take over an hour to get to us. why wouldn't they just send it when we had initially called.   Not Up to Standard for the Cost

  We booked this hotel for a night before a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale. We arrived later than expected, but the room still wasn’t ready at 6 PM. After waiting in line for the only desk agent, we were asked to step aside, and a few minutes later were told the room was ready. When we went upstairs, staff were still inside with the door ajar and the TV on. Once we showed them it was our room, they quickly finished preparing it and let us in.The room itself was fine — generally clean, with a comfortable bed. The hotel seemed understaffed overall, which we noticed again at breakfast. The breakfast was adequate, but there didn’t seem to be any management presence, and since it was a Friday, perhaps that’s to be expected.Considering the price, we were hoping for service closer to what we usually experience at places like Hampton.
